Some characters learn their feats in different ways now [Peacekeeper's 3rd Tier 1 Feat was Stealth, now it's his 2nd Tier 1 for example] and some have abilities that are not shown in their movelist [i know that some have mentioned that Nobushi has at least one and i know Shugeki can do his little backbreaker with other inputs].

I really don't know why this game changed from the open beta, it was perfectly fine and all it needed was some slight tuning here and there and fixing the constant errors.
I thought Nobushi was doing a new move, but it turns out there is just some new bug with parrying which triggers a backoff move that should only work after blocking and pressing dodge(space for me) I thought it was a new move because of how it looked after parrying, but it turns out it is the exact same move(thanks to whoever found the vid to show me I was wrong about that)
But, this doesn't change the fact that I have no idea what is triggering it to happen because
    1) I didnt block, I parried
    2) I didnt get anywhere near my dodge button.
So I would parry an attack and go to follow up with a light strike and 2 out of every 10 times it does the backoff move instead and completely wastes my parry and gives me more distance than I would ever want epsecially after a parry when I have drained their stamina and would like to throw them to the ground The other 8 times the light strike triggers as I would expect it to. Not sure what is going on, and some others tried to test it out and are not having the same issue so /shrug. It is still happening to me, but I am guessing it is just some weird parry bug and it will eventually go away.

Actually Nobushi has all her moves listed, same for Shugoki.

It says so in the other window that he can cancel heavy into embrace, In general cancels aren't listed in the moveset but listed in the "hero specific"

I think it's all about timing. But I can be wrong. Timings of moves can change according to your connection with the other player.

I agree with all this and also despise what they did with the microtransactions on steel. You used to get 140 per match, so it wouldnt have been too bad in that case.. however earning 40 per match is cancer... The game is already expensive as hell, dlc is expensive as hell.. then micros? I loved this game, with all this nonsense they've made me hate it a little >.<

This whole ordeal is heartbreaking. I got sick the day open beta started and when I remembered I shot out of bed, ran to my computer and downloaded it, excited to try the game since I didn't get into any betas beforehand and thought the game looked fun. I have after all been searching for a skill based 1v1 fighting game that isn't just street fighter etc.
It downloaded pretty quick and I got in without a hitch. Holy ****! Ubi! Nice! That honestly blew me away because.. Well.. Ubisoft..
Went through the tutorial and was turned off instantly to be quite honest. The samurai guy I used during the tutorial was kinda "meh" overall and felt slow to me, as im usually the assassin role in games. Alright, no big deal, surely there are faster characters. Saw the peacekeeper and fell in love instantly. Bought her and hopped right into duels, no learning, no nothing. Got my *** kicked.. Hard. But it didn't piss me off, and I hate losing! Every loss felt like I was just straight getting beat and I deserved to lose. What did that do? It made me want to learn my character even more and get better as a player.. But I had to vomit first. Did that and then went back to bed, only problem was, I couldn't stop thinking about playing, so I did my research on Peacekeeper and found her "bread and butter combos". After watching guide after guide, I took it into a bot match and felt things coming together. I could get three stabs in on my guard block, my dodging was getting good, and I was even landing the dodge/counter/stab move thats pretty tough, and I was loving it. I played duels online that night untill 2am, and then woke up and continued to play that entire afternoon, despite being sick with the flu. I don't doubt in my mind that the peacekeeper was a little strong, for example the 3 stab should not bleed for 2 bars of hp, and simple ballance changes like that, but it felt like every character was good and if you learned them, they could be viable.
I told my friend, and had twice the fun, he fell in love as hard as I did and that night we both pre-ordered the game... Its perfect right!.. What can go wrong..

Well I wen't to class the next day, and the beta ended, but all we could talk about was how we couldn't wait for the game to launch and see everything the full game has to offer in terms of customization and the 3 new characters!

Its now less than a week after launch and I really just don't enjoy playing anymore. Alot of what was said by OP is 100% true and it makes me sick to my stomach that Ubisoft is silent in the matter. This is the first game since Skyrim.. SKYRIM that has made me lose track of class and count the seconds till I get to come home and play it again, but now im looking at the refund button on steam, brokenhearted that my allotted playtime for the refund option is filled.

TLR- This game was the chosen one (to me) and it just breaks my heart because at the back of my mind, I know that Ubisoft is probably going to ignore every single one of our complaints and watch this game die faster than The Division did...

My two cents is i had an 71% duel avg during the two beta's with my warden and i now can't kill a soul (20%) so i've switched to Nobushi who i've not used before.

I really can't put a finger on it but i just can't seem to get the warden to work anymore, especially to suit my play style. My crushing blow hit rate is no where near my parry success rate now although every time i parry i'm too far away to capitalise anyway.

RIP my friend, we had some fun.

Despite the fact that some people are having issues, I sincerely doubt the validity of this post. If you really loved it that much, a couple of minor response issues for very specific systems would not dissuade you into a full refund.

Also, chances are they are internally calculating how to finance the necessary fixes, and budget them. They are here to make money, and that is their main responsibility. If they come to the conclusion that its in their interest to spend more money on this game to fix it, in order to sell more copies, or prevent damage to their apparently already wrecked reputation, they might do so.

Zero chance you can expect anything significant to happen 2 days after launch. Wait a few weeks, and see how it goes.
I imagine you think Hello Games did the right thing with No Man's Sky by not saying a single thing for more than a month, right?

    Hey, (Orochi player here)

I know this is not a popular opinion but i think GB and CGB is ok, i do it 100% time when possible, just have to press it ONLY ONCE at the very moment Your opponent touch You, works 8/10 times 100% every time.

Parry/Dodging/Deflects now that's a whole another thing, these simply don't work for me atm, but i see other players doing 100% deflect on every attack that i do and also blocking everything..
This one Orochi player did a heavy counter attack on every single storm rush that i did, probably like 12 times in a row, i have tried it like 20 times and failed 20 times.
Wish i had some insight to when and how to do it properly ( I am pressing A/W/D when he start attack and Space just before the impact, when red thing is flashing.
If i do it too early i dodge, if i do it just right, i get hit, if i do it late same..
