True that the blocking system has become slow, or not responsive, you just move the mouse to the good direction but you still get hit, that's wow frustating

At this point I would be happy with a post from Ubi simply admitting that this is happening and that they are looking at it. The silence is very disheartening.

Like they dont see that there is an issue at all, granted some people seem to think everything is fine when it clearly is different and some things are just flat out not working right. Its not a night and day difference, but it is enough that my frustration levels have grown to the point that I can barely get a match or two in before I just throw my hands up and log out.

Been trying different heroes, tried some bot matches to see if maybe it was better, but the game is simply not as responsive as it was.. maybe they did this hoping it would make it easier on new players, but I don't see how this could be easier... you can't learn from your mistakes if you have no way of knowing that you made one.
Yes, I would like to hear something....anything from ubi addressing these concerns.

I am also in the same boat, I can hardly play the game for a few hours without getting frustrated

I only participated in tests 5 & 6 but you are shockingly correct.

The only thing I disagree on, is the parry window in test 6. It was off at first but they patched it.

Atm the game feels strange and very different from the betas. Especially the parry mechanic, guard break and counter attacks (see parry) need work.

My 100% win rate with zerker says otherwise.

And if you think orochi is a spam character, no wonder you're getting smoked...

I played closed beta, open beta, and have the game now, and I'm pretty sure this is the best iteration -- at least out of the 3 versions I played. There is just a handful of people that are sad that their faves got nerfed, or don't match up so good against the new 3 characters, so they're complaining like crazy.

I also think alot of people are butt hurt because the match making is putting them against people of the same skill, so they aren't just smashing noobs all the time.

Yup. Tried the game in Alpha. Now even against bots I notice their guard breaks have tracking. As do other moves that shouldn't have tracking or once upon a time did not track you if you dodged. Guard break counter was also messed up for the release yesterday. I'm sad about the state of the game, mechanics, and some characters. But it's only been 1 day. Even though Ubisoft fails to respond to posts like this, you have to think they at least notice them, right?

You forgot to mention that there's changes in both Feats and movesets.

Some characters learn their feats in different ways now [Peacekeeper's 3rd Tier 1 Feat was Stealth, now it's his 2nd Tier 1 for example] and some have abilities that are not shown in their movelist [i know that some have mentioned that Nobushi has at least one and i know Shugeki can do his little backbreaker with other inputs].

I really don't know why this game changed from the open beta, it was perfectly fine and all it needed was some slight tuning here and there and fixing the constant errors.

With all due respect, Ubisoft is doing the strategically right thing in keeping their mouthes shut. Acknowleding big issues right now is going to leak to the gaming press immediately, and sales will drop.
Also, chances are they are internally calculating how to finance the necessary fixes, and budget them. They are here to make money, and that is their main responsibility. If they come to the conclusion that its in their interest to spend more money on this game to fix it, in order to sell more copies, or prevent damage to their apparently already wrecked reputation, they might do so.

Zero chance you can expect anything significant to happen 2 days after launch. Wait a few weeks, and see how it goes.

..and everyone that purchased the game knowing issues there were in previous betas are helping them in making such money.

Just to expand on what I posted earlier, now that I've looked through the forum, it's quite clear that some people are having serious issues. However, it must be isolated to certain systems, because the game runs better for me at this point and responds better than it ever has.

I really hope they get it fixed for those of you who are having issues. At first I was thinking people were just complaining in order to justify the fact that they're getting smoked now that the game is released, but it seems clear that some people are having genuine issues, since so many people are reporting such.
