whenever i try for the counter heavy attack now i just parry. you used to block and attack. his move set still has the Superior Block Heavy Attacks in there.

but all i ever get is a Parry now.

Don't know what the devs did with this game since the beta build but i don't like it

The timing is slightly before a parry. It's a useless move anyway, they are almost guaranteed to block or even parry it. It screws me over quite often when I do it on accident instead of parrying.

back in the closed alpha it used to be like the wardens top counter, where you would block as you attacked. guess they changed it

Only time I use it is with a charged heavy since you can actually guarantee that to land
