Thanks for the info and tips in this thread. It has really helped me and yesterday I had two duels against experienced Orochi that I won pretty definitively. Please take a look at these and would appreciate any feedback on what I could do better, aside from countering GB. Still having trouble with that.

TTVPappusGaming,
This is by far the best guide I have ever seen. Sadly nothing in it helps me as they were things I have already learned for myself lol but still a really strong and detailed guide. Good Job man.
Side Notes: ok so 2 things,
#1, most of the time when we lose it's arguably because Raider is the weakest 1v1 hero in the game. We simply don't have an answer for everything while all other heroes do. (with lawbringer being the only exception) Raider's guard shifts much slower than almost all other heroes, all his attacks are easy to parry, follow, block, and dodge. Predictable Moveset, and only a Light attack, or Dry unblockable is guaranteed after a GB "with out a wall assist" and the dry unblockable does like 2.5 dmg more than a light
#2, We are Raider, Legendary! "OUTSTANDING"
Video 1: Round 1 you had him grabbed with execution and a wall next to you. Pretty sure you could have done the 95 dmg combo right there. You also didn't default your block to top, which is of course your decision, but the top light is harder to parry than the zoneattack.Originally Posted by DDSDevilDog Go to original post
Round 2: Your first throw is a useless wallcarry forward into light. You had a wall to your left that you could have used for a heavy or just outright unblockable for damage. The exhaustion grab you did in round 2 isn't a combo so he could have parried that unblockable.
Round 3 you parry his attack and give him a light. This was a guaranteed guardbreak into ringout or unblockable or using the wall for a heavy.
Thanks for the feedback. Will keep working at itOriginally Posted by TTVPappusGaming Go to original post![]()

Hey Pappus, awesome guide! Improved my gameplay so much by reading this! Just had a 1v4 win that was so rewarding![]()
Quick question: you listed gear with the primary/sec/negative stats, is that what you recommend for a rev build? Not sure how to understand it. I can't decide between attack or defense heavy axe tho...
