I believe you need to do it when they are out of stamina. It worked for me when they had no stam.

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but in the guide he talks about parrying light attack? How do you party a light attack? I thought you could only parry heavy attacks?

Everything that has an attack direciton can be parried

You block a light attack just like you block a heavy attack. Press heavyattack when the hit is about to strike (on the hud the attack direction flashes briefly) It is a lot easier to react to animations than it is reacting to the flash

You will lose tons of duels until your defense is good enough. However you will then be rewarded with the strongest punishes in the game. Also many raider players seem to fail core concepts and instead cry for buffs so if ubi actually listens to them it is double christmas time for us.
