I fought a peacekeeper who could just lock-on dash backwards after the parry-light attack. Absolutely ridiculous. It seems like the characters with special parry follow-ups, Lawbringer/Warlord, the followups are worthless. You get a guaranteed light or an unsafe heavy, while Warden/Orochi and whoever else get a safe guardbreak-heavy.Originally Posted by darksavior1977 Go to original post
Add stun effect to all of his attacks = problem sovled.Originally Posted by Dizzy4213 Go to original post
On a more serious note, compared to the rest, he's a pretty new character which hasn't gone through a lot of tests yet. Give it time, they'll buff him sooner or later. Considering PK got nerfed like immediately after a weekend of OB, they'll do the same for UP characters. If you can get by with him in his state now, expect to wreck when he gets better. Now, I just feel he needs faster attack/block speed and less stamina consumption, a lot of his problems can be solved just by tuning those stats a bit. He is a counterattacker, then other classes should be worried everytime they attack him.
What if i will tell u what top light after shove are blockable, hell no it can be even parried by decent player, so LB only 2 options for follow ups areOriginally Posted by mkovie20 Go to original post
1st - top light ( can be blocked and parried)
2nd - shove with gb ( will work only versus mentaly ******ed players)
So in conclusion if ur opponent know what all what lb can do is top light and gb after shove LB are left only with 1 option is parry and light poke, but gl hf do parry like 10 or 15 times in a row.
In total Lb just target dummy with . High hp pool
Don't forget if you use his unblockable uninterruptible shoves any follow up attack they can just back step out of range of. Literally no guaranteed hit with that ability. Long arm only guaranteed hit is a light even though you knock them off their feat, and the other two unblockables can be parried or interrupted with light attacks. The character with the beefiest armor in the Knight Class can have his biggest hits interrupted with a little swipe of a sword. Not to mention the only ones you can do without coming off a Parry or Combo is Long Arm or Shove, and the only thing you can get out of those is a light Attack.
Lawbringer needs
- More Range
- More Damage
- More Stamina
- Uninterruptible Unblockables
- Be able to hit his heavies off of Parries, Guard Breaks, and Long Arm
Add those in and he's a viable character.
Pretty much this, plus faster attack speed. He's so slow my opponents can simply walk backwards out of my attacks and not get hit. I really wish he'd get buffed soon. I don't know how much more I can take. Once I get him to Rep 3 I'm done with him. I don't have the willpower to continue using him anymore. I'm so tired of Shove spamming and throwing people of the map. Once people get used to the new guard break that will be the final nail in the coffin for him. He'll be completely unusable then. I've seen a few posts from other players trying to defend the Lawbringer by saying such and such YouTuber did good with him. They all do the same thing. Shove into GB then into side heavy. Which will not work against any opponent with a brain.Originally Posted by Migalouch Go to original post

It's probably because his damage is so low. You can get in his little pokes for measly damage, and take one hit from someone and lose twice the health that they lost. So it feels like your health is much lower than it is. It's more an issue with how much work you have to do to keep up with other classes in terms of damage and trading. A Lawbringer can't afford to make many mistakes. Coincidentally, you have to play with a glass cannon mentality about your own health, since you have no guaranteed combos and your best attack is a light upper that deals almost no damage. Also, since players regen a little health when they're on their last pixel, that upper light can't kill unless you get it in very quickly. And since Lawbringer has little to no reliable offensive options, as long as your opponent plays defensively and backs off until they get that second hit of health back, you're not going to be able to kill them.Originally Posted by Dizzy4213 Go to original post
