A hardcore PvP:er. Is this worth the money as of today?

Hello, just did my first post ever on Ubisofts forum to throw out a question wich my title so generously expains.

Do you guys consider this game worth the money right now?

I've been reading up on forums as of today actully and it have come to my understanding that this game seem to be having aloot of connection issues right now.
How bad is it really on a scale 1 to 10? Think i should buy it and just suffer some, for it truly looks amazing.

    Whelp!

I'd say no, with the combat changes, its just who plays defensive the most.
And many of the classes are super weak compared to others.

I play FPS's daily as well as several other games. I've put them all aside for the alphas, betas and now for the release of the game. If you can get a solid core team you'll love it. I still love it with the 1-2 friends that group up with me and mash out the contracts(dailys)

As for connectivity issues. I saw more in the alphas then even in the betas.. . and now in the official I've only had problems when rooms I were joining were full. Most of the issues I saw through the alphas, betas were handled by the devs and not ignored (kodos for the devs there, other game launches devs have ignored the community even as they were sounding the fire alarms when the house was burning)

I'd give it a 7.. .. 9 if they fix the things they introduced since beta

i give it a 5. Its fun and a good Mortal Kombat replacement. But thats all it is. I feel I'll be bored soon and will pop it in here and there for a few fights. But nothing long term. Buy when its on sale. Maybe then alot of problems will be fixed and it may turn into a great game. but until then smh...

No, its best if you throw your $60 at a stripper, in a well, down the drain, to your kid, your schools, eat it, burn it. You get the idea. Don't get this game until they change things.

    Yes it is.

People had the same complaints about R6 and look at it now.

    Is it perfect? No.

Is it fun as all hell? God yes.

Xbox One running smooth for me. I have only had a handful of disconnects since full release and one of them was my modem...

The problem with the original question is that perspective, and bias of personal enjoyment can't be known. As well as what your income is.

For me, I think it is worth the money. But, I already have about 7 hours in and only spent $100 (yeah, I bought the whole upgrade/pass/whatever option because I could). Now, If I go on a date with my wife to say dinner and a movie, we are usually gone for maybe 4-5 hours and it costs about the same if not more depending on who watches the kids and if I feel obligated to throw them money... Then that date is over. It is gone. The movie is forgotten, the dinner becomes **** and I am out that $100. With the game, I have already doubled my time and I will still be able to delve into it whenever I have the urge...

    Everyone is different...
