I for one want to see something done about this and before you say get good and watch your windows and doors. I spawn kill and rush myself. I do not often get spawn killed but it happens.
I do not like battling players who spawn peek and rush. It's taking the fun out of the game
I think doing away with the spawn killing will boil the game down to skill.
We should get a over all spawn protection like a enemy overwatch a npc that kills spawn peekers and rushers. They'll have 3 seconds to move from sight of an open window wall or door and allow the spawn protection like to last about 5 to 10 seconds.
I don't ever see it happening in platinum- diamond tiers....it seems to happen a lot in lower ranks. In the upper ranks you get absolutely wrecked as a spawn rusher because people immediately start aiming down sights the moment they spawn. It becomes automatic at some points that you should always be ads when you spawn.
I can easily prove that wrong for the past two seasons i did just this to diamonds and Plats lolOriginally Posted by C0ffee_Girl5 Go to original post
Definitely agree with this!Originally Posted by C0ffee_Girl5 Go to original post
I played with a couple of friends who recently got the game not long ago. Experienced players who aren't quite good enough to reach the higher ranks seem to prey on the new, low-ranked players who aren't familiar with all of the maps & spawn points yet. It's making them really dislike the game though when they have to sit out for the whole round because they had no way to expect to be killed within 2 seconds of spawning.
To be fair the ranking system lately have been very "loose", you can literally get to diamond without much effort. I didn't participate this season, but the seasons before it was almost impossible to get to diamond. Guess I was lucky because I played in those tiers back then and almost no one spawn rushed.Originally Posted by feffreyfeffrey Go to original post
It is pretty easy to avoid in ranked once you're expecting it to happen. In casual though, everybody spawns in a random place (no control over where) and all five people spawn together making them very easy prey. Maybe the solution is instead to let people in casual vote on the spawn point, rather than any measures to stop spawn killing. I think it could be just as successful because of the reasons stated in the quoted post.Originally Posted by aYcSuperBob Go to original post
