    It's simple. If you havent worked out the power of the conq, you should seriously go play something else. Conq is probably the strongest class in outnumbered situations late in game in dominion. He takes a little bit of work in duels/brawls but its all about making your opponents attack first and countering.

    Conq has a lot of drawbacks too.

    His GB into heavy side attack does 23 damage while everyone else gets 25 plus which is what you regen back to.

    2 light attacks deal 24 damage again 1 shy of that 25 benchmark. Many other character get to 25 with a 2 hit combo on lights.

    Conq has the single most useless zone attack in the game. It's laughable garbage except against minions.

    Conq's dodge>shield bash tech is pretty well useless. It can't be followed up on with a light attack like his heavy into shield bash can.

    Conq also can't get into the feint game at all.

    I think he's in an OK spot overall, but there are definitely stronger characters in the game right now. (looking at Warden)

    Dodge shield bash can be followed by an unstoppable light attack if they end up in range, which they usually do.

    Conq can feint with his omniblock - this usually just gets you slapped with a heavy for no gain and losing a chunk of stamina, but since it will still stagger a light attack you can use it to try and bait a Warden's top light counter and shield bash them afterwards.

    That's clever

    Yeah guess you're right. You can follow up with light attack, but you can't wall splat them for a free heavy with it right?

    I remember there was some shortcoming of the dodge one compared to the heavy attack one that didn't seem intuitive.

    Conqueror broken?

    I only play conqueror and im reputation 2 lvl19, i dont have any problem with the character. Anyone know where i can find my stats online win/loss percentage?

    I've been playing Conq almost exclusively since it was first released in Alpha. I have to agree that he is lacking, but I have a few corrections and points to make.

    First of all, the Shield Rush, as others have stated, can be followed up with a guaranteed light attack. It's not much damage, but it's easy and helps to whittle down the enemy's HP. It also does in fact deal stamina damage, so Conqs are one of the best classes for exhausting foes into knockdowns.

    Our greatest strength in my opinion is our parry game. Not only is every block Superior, shutting down a lot of combos, but we have a very forgiving parry window. I don't know if it's any wider, but even if we miss the parry we still hold our guard for extra time so it's really safe to attempt. Add to this the Charged Heavy guard (very effective against Nobushi) and we are exceptionally hard to crack.

    All that being said, we have some serious issues that need to be addressed for us to be competitive at the highest levels.

    First off, our lack of a true feint is a tough pill to swallow. I personally don't like feints much anyway, but it's an extremely powerful tool that every high level player must utilize to the fullest to win. The quasi-feint we have in our omniguard is somewhat useful; I catch a lot of people off-guard with a surprise Shield Rush when they're waiting for me to fire off my Charged Heavy, but it still pales in comparison to the mind games you can play with a true feint.

    Next, our damage is pathetic. As Peligrad stated, our heavy attacks are the weakest in the game, and this matters a lot in the final stages of a fight. Any other class can kill with a single heavy when their opponent is on their last bar of HP. Conquerors cannot. This means a 1 HP bar Assassin can survive a GB>Heavy and then dodge away until they regen back to 1 bar. This is extremely frustrating and should be fixed. Having normal heavy attack damage would not break the Conqueror.

    The only "guaranteed" damage we can do is a single light attack on a successful Shield Charge. The difficulty is landing the SC. We have three ways to engage it; dodge>SC, omniguard>SC and heavy>SC. In every case the SC can be dodged. Something to keep in mind for all players in case you haven't learned this yet; Conqs recover from a whiffed SC fast enough to block an Assassin's dodge attack, so if you try it you are handing me a free Parry>GB>Side Heavy.

    Our light attacks are modest in speed, but still get regularly parried, and their damage is lower than everybody else's. This means our LLH combo is useless.

    It makes me laugh when I get salt players *****ing about the Conq being OP or calling me a spammer because I use our only reliable combo (H>SC>L) over and over. Conqs are solid in skilled hands, but they are left in the dust by more competitive classes like the Warden, Kensei, and most egregiously the Warlord. There needs to be some power transfer between the other shield bearing Heavy class and the Conqueror, because the Warlord just has too many tricks that are more effective than anything the Conq can bring to the table.

    Also they Adress the whats really broken about the conqueror. You cant Charge up your heavy and counter a break. Which Ruins the whole Aspect of conquerors strongest attack.... if you charge ur heavy all the enemy has to do is get up Close and press the damn square Button and nothing you can do about it. And this gets you raging mad against damn peacekeepers. This needs really to be changed.

    Also as of Late im getting so many attacks getting trough my block, You block, but you still get hit. Or sit in your autoblock and get Hit... So annoying... anyone else?

    The tier list is made by 1 single person, who has admitted he's still gathering data. The game just came out, balance is still being done, nothing has been set in stone yet. Conq is in a good place, definitely more balanced than 5-6 other ones.
