The difference between a GOOD player and a BAD player in this game.

    Is very simple.

The people who are gonna always be good at this game will ask the following after a loss.

    - What did I do wrong?

    - What did the enemy team do right?

    - How could I have done better?

    - Could I have chosen a better Hero to balance our team comp?

    - Was I a good teammate?

    - Did I play for myself or did I play for the team?

The people who will always be bad at this game will ask the following after a loss.

    - What did the game do wrong?

    - Why did I lag so bad?

    - Why is the game so unbalanced?

    - What did my teammates do wrong?

    - How could my team be this bad?

    - Why did they all choose bad heroes?

    - Why didn't they do everything I wanted them to do?

    - Why did they not help me the entire game?

Smart people will see the difference and notice a trend. You can insult me and deny it all you want but you know its true.

100% agree with this. The best way to learn and adapt to games is to always evaluate yourself to try and make improvements. The 'bad' players are the ones that are way too stubborn to do this.

But there are no flaws...This game was the first game released that was perfect.<sarcasm>

See you are making a common mistake.

You are thinking I am saying the game is perfect.

    Its not.

I am saying that trying to blame ALL of your failings on the game and your team is a slippery slope of badness.

90% YOU are the one to blame for your losses. Not the game. That goes for ANY game.

I am violently short tempered and my rage is second to only the man child DSP. I cannot tell you how many times I raged while playing this game. When in 1v1 I raged when I couldn't do anything with a character, that the orochi's block was beyond useless, that the Warlord had to be in hugging distance to land a hit, that the shugoki can be seen attacking from a mile away. I raged about the grabbing mechanics the lawbringer and shugoki had, the spamming light attacks that the assassins could do, the bleed effects that the nobushi and peacekeeper kept inflicting. In 4v4 I raged about the system not working when outnumbered, about players running away to gang up on someone else, or someone else running to gang up on me, that the nice combat system would get thrown out the window for ganking and spamming.

And every time I raged...I quit. I quit, I took a break, ate food, did some programming, and I rethought my strategy. Then I went back into the game and applied the new strategy...and it worked. I cannot tell you how many times I rage quit, complained about something being defective, rethinking my approach, and having the new approach work. Even my new approaches had to be improved. I still have several characters I haven't touched yet but I will attest that if something is not working, changes are it is how you are approaching it that is killing you.

Learn the ins and outs of each character for 1v1 and learn the tactics and how to play to your character's strengths in 4v4.
