so i never used to have this problem, but now when ever i parry, they stumble out of range and my follow up attacks miss.
really frustrating, as whats the point of risking the parry if there is no real pay off. heavy will just about reach but they will always be blocked as they are to slow, and the lights just wiff.
What's funny is that the KING of Parry, the LawBringer, has this issue x1000. Literally a PoleAxe class where almost every one of his followups are out of range to actually follow up. I never had this issue with Warden in CBT or OBT, but i'd be willing to bet they did some heavy changes without discussing them in patch notes at all.Originally Posted by Vordred Go to original post

Guardbreak doesn't work 95% of the time, which is infuriating. I honestly thought it was my own fault, until I was getting it down vs. AI 100%, then I thought it was a hardware issue when I couldn't execute it against players.
I'm sorry but you have zero right to ***** you have a tornado combo that takes 70-80% of the opponents hp your class is more broken in a good way then bad. please play lawbringer and tell us how much warden needs a fix.Originally Posted by Vordred Go to original post
wtf? watchu mean with that?Originally Posted by Deus-Vultt Go to original post
but yeah, the Lawbringer needs a buff ASAP more than any other class in the game.
P.S. He needed that buff since 3 months ago, tho...

what tornado combo?? only way the warden does heavy damage is with the overhead heavy, which is easily avoided
I had this problem myself, then I learned to stop swinging and start guard-breaking. Get a parry? Guard-break it. Doesn't work against Nobushis at range, but for everyone else, you'll slide in and ram them good for a free hit or a throw if you'd prefer. But a lot of parry-into-swings tend to fall short, except for the zone-attack.
