Lawbringer NEEDS a serious buff and actual FREINDLY FIRE!
A few things I'd like to cover, I was hoping this would be this would have been done by now, in my opinion, your servers aren't your biggest problem to me, as they usually run ok with friends, but 4v4 is the biggest problem networking seems to have, dedicated servers maybe for 4v4? And just to say if you don't do much about these issues, this game will not only get stale (because of it's small learning curve) but maybe be overtaken, this being considered an esport is a joke right now (only with way more balancing can you even think of that)
You guys have done really well with customization, the only the that could be complained about is the look and need of the effects (like sun beam). Obviously add stuff later on but that's not priority. I want to love this lawbringer guy, but you are making it beyond insane to.
I'll just list all the things that need to be done for the law bringer and in general if you don't want to read everything
* Improve shove range or take away invincibility frame from dashing to the side for all characters (preferably this)
* Take down the bloody impale charges stamina consumption or make it unblockable
* increase the speed of light and heavy attacks, this guy NEEDS IT
* The health of this guy should be above everyone, increase it, or add an uninterruptible mechanic to him, he has so much Armour, why not?
* Add this feature to the game, if you knock someone round the head twice (stun) in quick succesion, they get knocked to the floor, or are completely blinded
* MAKE A NEW ZONE ATTACK, a chargeable swipe? he has a damn pole axe! it should be huge
* Also add another feat unique to this guy (I like the parry one, but I have no idea how long it lasts)
* Elimination mode needs to be improved, take away boosts at start
* FRIENDLY FIRE FOR GOD SAKE, MAKE IT STANDARD DAMAGE AND MORE TO IT
* limit the amount of times people can be revived from unlimited to 2?
* take away shugoki getting life from demon's embrace (this bloody move can kill you outright)
* increase stamina consumption each time you make the same combo to prevent loops, for characters like the wardens shoulder bash and 2 light attack infinite
* make dashing while exhausted (out of stamina actually use a bit of stamina)
* maybe make parrying harder, I learned how to use it in combat within an hour
* take away warlords grab that forces anyone very far, in any direction he likes, make it only forward like the raider
* allow revenge modes activation to break you out of raiders pick up, law bringers impaling charge etc
* 1v1s should not build up revenge meter AT ALL, only when two or more people are locked on to you should it then build up
* I do think everyone's health apart from assassins needs to be tweaked
* stamina consumption for assassins may need to be increased
The lawbringer is arguably the slowest character in the game right now (he's classed as hard but this is just insane), I have been trying him right now alone (I played the hell out of conqueror, kensei, nobushi, orochi during the alpha/betas). The difference in health is just not enough, you can barely hit anyone with your light attack, I find that getting parried a lot, which really should only be possible with heavy attacks, so obviously hitting people with heavy attacks to start is just not possible. I find myself having to guard break people to start of a hit, but due to his slow speed it's pretty obvious what he wants. Also the stamina consumption with a few of these moves are a complete travesty, like the impaling charge, this is both very slow and hardly hits due to it hitting the standard stance of left (right from chargers perspective). if they block (not parry, BLOCK) the charger is reduced to a tiny slither of his stamina, WHAT THE HELL! are you for real? you give conqueror, warlord, warden, raider and shugoki unblockable running attacks which take much less than half of your stamina which they can spam to their hearts content and not really punished. The parrying is a big part for this lawbringer, but the combos you can pull of after are not great, Impaling riposte is a joke still, to slow and insane stamina consumption (even you get someone onto the wall, you can only guarantee a light attack will hit, blind justice is to easy to parry due to the speed of which its coming, I find myself always doing light riposte since that is the only thing that will hit, anything else and you WILL be punished. Also another huge problem I have with this guy, his zone attack, This is by FAR the ****test zone attack out of all the heroes, it's slow as HELL and with such little range and only hits people on the right side of you, I due to how **** it is, I never use it, because it can be parried, Also the shove maybe be unblock able and not bad stamina consumption, but bloody hell it is short range, I would have thought that this would have helped against side dashing attackers (primarily assassins), but no that is bloody **** against that, zone attack would usually be a good counter, but I already said, it's beyond ****. I have noticed that if a hero with dash attacking capabilities exploits dashes against me, without question I am dead. Since I have no counter (bloody hell, if someone dashes to the side (left or right), a heavy horizontal attack should them? come on)
Now, I've been saying this since day one, and it seems like it still hasn't been fully done. FRIENDLY FIRE, IT NEEDS TO BE MORE, A LOT MORE. IT'S STILL A HUGE PROBLEM (that is it isn't enough), Do not listen to the MORONS who say it will make the game lame (they are idiots who are new to the game but think they know something), because all we are getting is people SPAMMING THE CRAP out of their attacks against one guy, eventually someone guardbreaks or does some unblockable grapple move, like the shugoki's demon's embrace or the lawbringers long arm, which both leaves them wide open and then knocks them to the ground, which leads to everyone around attacking the guy who has been grabbed, and lying dead while the guy who got friendly fired by all his teammates barely loses a bar, of health? why has this not been dealt, even if you do what I say, the 4v1 scenario, if a teammate dies due to friendly fire, his team will just revive him. Bloody hell do this already. This will encourage friends to practice together, because right now, practicing is nearly pointless, cause you aren't rewarded for it in anyway.
FRIENDLY FIRE, MAKE IT STANDARD DAMAGE AGAINST TEAMMATES AND MORE, I CAN'T STRESS HOW ANGRY I AM THAT YOU DECIDED TO LISTEN TO MORONS FIRST, YOU ARE KICKING THE PLAY ABILITY FACTOR RIGHT OUT OF THE WINDOW BY LETTING THIS GO. THIS GAME WILL BE FILLED WITH MORONS AFTER WHILE IF SOMETHING ISN'T DONE ABOUT IT, THIS IS A FIGHTING GAME, IT SHOULD BE STANDARD THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO TRAIN REGULARLY!
Elimination is a joke btw, take out the boost (if you want to leave them in, only leave the health and speed boost, or maybe only let dying people see them. Because all you have right now is people running for those boost, getting kills and FEATS! (change how you get feats to instead of killing them, but damaging them) right now this game mode is rewarding people who run away and steal kills, where the hell is the HONOR in that? I find myself giving up if it's 1v4 since even if I kill them, they'll just revive him, there is no end, I am not rewarded for killing as many as I can since there is a timer, which will have me lose.
I am 100% serious that if this is not improved that this will be one of the biggest disappointments I've had (and will lose it's player base in time, already before the game came out people were saying that it's gonna be stale, fix these few things PLEASE!!!) , you have a reputation for screwing things up ubisoft, please change that now. I love the idea of this game, please what I ask is not much
