Installing game content...

I downloaded the digital Gold edition of The Honor last night, and when the game completed the download today, I started it. Play through the practice mode. But now I'm stuck at the menu screen, all the other mode is locked and it says

Please wait for installation to complete to access to this menu

It has been hours of waiting, is this normal? Or is there something wrong with my copy?

I both For Honor Gold edition for PS4 yesterday from playstore and downloed the game.
The game opened but just the practise mode is working.
Story, Quickmatch and multiplayer modes are not opening.

Just bought the Gold Edition on PS4 myself. Downloaded the game, did the practice session at the start. The menus are almost all blocked off due to "Game Content Installing" and it's been like this for about 2 hours now. I've now just deleted the game from my PS4 and downloading again, will update this if fixed or not.

Re-downloaded: waited 30 minutes and game still installing content...
Restarted: waited 30 minutes and game still installing content...
Re-compiled database on the PS4: gonna wait 30 minutes and see what this does...

OH FOR FU--- SAKE
Goto > SETTINGS > System Storage Management > Applications > "For Honor" > DOWNLOAD STATUS 27.074 / 37.138 GB remaining.

Why couldn't the game say that it's still downloading? Why is it only saying "game content still installing"? Why can't it give an install / download progress percentage / data remaining?

All that ****ing around....

Thanks for your reply, I thought it might be it, but I already deleted and re-installing again from the ground up last night. Gotta wait it out then.

And ugh at the slow internet speed

( I HAVE THE DISC VERSION OF THE GAME ) I don't know if Sony changed it up but, I've been trying to download this for the past few days, the game keeps telling me "installing game content..." but there's no download showing up in Notifications or Information bar... the only thing close to this was in my Notifications saying I installed the newest update file for For Honor

There are a number of potential issues that could be causing this. First, what color is your NAT in the top of the main menu? If you are having connection issues with our services, that could be causing troubles with installing the patch data. Tell me if it's red especially. The other potential issue is that the game is still installing or that the installation failed in some manner. Try the database rebuild step in our PS4 troubleshooting FAQ. If that doesn't help, reinstalling will likely resolve the issue.
