Well, after reading the forums, I think I'll pass on this game!

Too many negative posts about various aspects of this game. Glad I saved my money!

Besides, this is ubisoft, and you should ask the the Silent Hunter 4 players how they screwed them over on that game!

Good call. The beta was much better than the full game. I honestly wish I could have the beta back...

^Don't listen to this guy. I've played the beta and the launch is nothing like the beta. If you enjoyed the beta stay away from this game. Simple.

    *EDIT*
Have you not seen the post asking for the beta build back? It's because IN THAT FORUM there are a list of things changed that has changed the balance of the game not just by me, but for others. I can't even kill people with my conqueror anymore. I used to take people down 1-2 reps above me and now I get rolled by level 1s and I'm rank 10 now, but obviously I've reached rep 2 in the betas so my skill level with the conqueror is better than base of 1. I get dodged and sidestepped and I can't honestly have my hand on the block and my sticks and my square button at the same time while these fast classes spam guard break and run around and light attack me as a heavy. I have high defense, but not if it's being wittled away at ever light attack that happens.

There I explained just a salt of issues.

Too bad, man, I like it - quite a lot actually. It sounds a lot worse than it actually is when you read the forums. Especially balance complaints come mainly from people who often even don't know the basics, not to speak of advanced stuff. It is still very early (second day of release! Come ooon!) , and virtually everybody is a sheep. That is a fact.

I don't think you should decide to buy or not a game based on the forums.Don't misunderstand me,there are some constrictive feedback, but the majority of the posts can be reassumed in :Nerf paper, scissors are fine."Made by rocks".They changed the gb timing from the beta now....count how many thread about the counter Gb "broken".The money is yours, but you should decide on your experience, not what some randoms on internet said.

Have to agree. There is definitely something off about the launch. A few days a go i quickly leveled up to prestige 2 with a 80% win rate fighting really high level guys and today i cant buy a win. Today was my first day playing as ive been busy with work and i fought about 15 fights and won 4. Something very off about this game as there is no way i went from pretty good to complete trash in just a few days. Parries,Gb and other things just feel off.

Usually people only go on forums to complain..... otherwise people are too busy enjoying the game to go on here to post.

Many people complain about NAT issues but me and my bro don't have any of those issues. I was initially on NAT strict but quickly fixed it by changing my router settings.
Some people are not tech savvy enough to fix NAT problems on their routers and came on here to complain

Exactly and by no means am I saying or claiming that I'm the best and toting on about my k/d and win ratios (not saying you are either), but I admit that there are people better than me, but when I was taking down rep 2-3s as a rep 1 in beta and now can't even do anything? That's ridiculous. There's no way my skill level dropped that bad from 2 days ago of the OB.

This is your mistake... you should never read the forums to make up your mind if you want to play a game or not. Forums are the gatehring points of people that see problems and those will often be made far worse of issues than they truly are, often coming down to peoples ignorance, being the problem themself.

If you want to form an opinion on a game, watch streams or play them yourself thru betas/demos. Wouldn't even rely on the press, because seems like they are more often than not wrong too.

Eh, you're making a mistake if you're gonna base your decision of purchase on the percent of negative reviews. It stands to reason that just about every comment on this thread will be negative. After all why take the time to post about something that doesn't require attention?

The number of comments does little besides serve as a testament to the games popularity

With that said, and depending on preference and your specific financial situation, you'd be hard pressed to find more entertainment for the price. And that's coming from someone who has personally voiced complaints in several threads
