I have contacted ubisoft support 4 days ago with no response yet, or actually, no relevant response. I reported the issue on the 11th when the beta was ongoing, and the only answer I got was blabla unfortunately the beta ended.
?????
Alright, sent a reply saying that the issue is still happening in the full game. Everytime a ubi rep replies in the forums is to send us to the options.ini tweak, which we have stated countless of times that it doesn't work, which makes me think that they have bots doing that otherwise it wouldn't really explain the fact that they aren't taking 5 seconds of their time to actually read about the issue.
Some guy on reddit contacted support and he was told that mobile cards are unsupported, thus they will do nothing about it, which is a really weird answer to give your customers about a huge issue they are experiencing.
By the way, newly released nvidia drivers didn't fix anything.
Can we have an official response? At least let us know that you awknowledged the problem, wheter you are working on it or NOT?
Thanks.
Really? I was just downloading the new graphics drivers and still am, was hoping it'd fix the problems since it's the only thing that seems to be a possible solution. I'll have to see for myself, but this is really sad to hear.
The Game Ready driver even writes about a bunch of cards it recommends, and then near the end mentions that if you don't have a GPU or laptop for the game yet, that you can get one with some of their promotions right now.
"If you've yet to get a GPU, system or laptop for For Honor, however, please note that the game is currently bundled with select Geforce GTX GPUs, systems and laptops at participating retailers." - Right from the Game Ready Driver details.
Still not even a mention about fixing the fullscreen issue for M cards, even though laptops typically are equipped with M cards...
Once upon a blue moon I exclusively used gaming laptops for the convince... I used Gateway & MSI brands and although the exact issue people are having was never a problem I had, when there were issues with games using intel gpu rather than the Nvidia I could disable the onboard in Bios. I'm not sure if anyone has recommended that, if so my apologies, but give it a shot if not.

Thanks. I've seen that suggested somewhere but as far as I've read, it's not really recommended disabling your integrated gpu in bios. I don't know if I should do that, since I'm not really having that problem anywhere else..
I have, however, contacted livechat via the feedback feature, and they assured me that although unsupported, it is being worked on a resolution for this problem regarding M cards. My only problem is that you cannot find any official answer about that on the forums, I guess support could be just saying that because , you know, they don't want to lose customers?
Once again, I just want to know that it is awknowledged so I can just go on and buy the damn game.
Hi guys,
The issue is known to the team and they are looking into this.
For now there are some workarounds that may resolve the issue in this thread here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...-the-game-once
Thanks for the reply. Really looking forward to that.Originally Posted by Ubi-Stature Go to original post
Thanks for the workaround aswell, you know, procedures and stuff..
Bumping for great justice and for thanks to Ubi-Stature for the update. It might seem minor to others but just acknowledgement from Ubisoft support is a big deal and a bit of a weight off of my mind.Originally Posted by Ubi-Stature Go to original post
Looking forward to a fix for fullscreen mode on notebooks soon.![]()
