I bought the gold version through steam and it now requires me to activate a code. I don't have a code or know where to find it. I post on multiple forums and yes my steam account and uplay are already linked. I have uninstalled both uplay and for honor. and it still does the same thing. I'm am just about ready to cancel my order all together. **** this please help

try to launch steam & uplay as adminstrator, this fixed the issue for other people.

right click the steam/uplay icon and select "start as adminstrator"
