Can't find a match / add friends to party [fix] [pc] | Forums

Hi guys and girls,

I was having an issue with adding friends to a party and also I was queing for 10mins plus and not finding a game on game modes like dominion and death match.

I found that the issue was that there was files withing my steam for honor folder that where from the beta and causing the issue

the game ran but was running old files. To fix this please follow this guide:

Go to your steam library right click on for honor, properties, locate the game files via opening local files button

Within this folder click on the tab at the top of the folder screen noted as date modified once you get a list of old files at top and new at bottom highlight all files modified prior to the 14th of Feb and delete

Once deleted go back to steam and verify your local game file's via the same section as where you located your local game folder

Once steam has finished verifying the files it will note that are missing some and begin downloading the correct data.

Hopefully next time your in your game it will run as it should have and won't be drawing on these old files that have snuck in most likely from the beta.

I've been having issues all day trying to get matchmaking to work and this did it.

I'm pretty sure i know where I went wrong. I tried to rename the beta folder and discover files. It didn't help with the download anyway but it had a residual disastrous effect.

I went into my ForHonor folder and deleted files from Feb 9th install of the beta, fired up game, joined a match in seconds.

Thank you sir, I may have come across them eventually but you sure saved me time and hassle.
