I pre-ordered the deluxe digital edition for PS4 that comes with the 7 day champion status.
I'm leaving on vacation in 3 days, and I'm afraid to log into the game in case I activate the champion status and it goes to waste.

I searched the web as well as these forums, and the best I could get is the comment reply by another gamer saying it activates as soon as you log into the game for the first time.
So now I can't play until I get back from vacation in almost two weeks or I'll waste most of my champion status??

Also, Judging from what I've read regarding PC and hard copies (vs digital ones), my understanding is that hard copy owners have to activate the deluxe or gold status manually. Which means that by comparison, PS4 digital buyers are at a disadvantage.
Fair means it should be the same across all platform+editions.

Also, beyond the particulars of my trip, we should be able to play the single player campaign without wasting Champion status.

Ubisoft, please fix this.

And if the information I have is incorrect, please fix the lack of official communication by creating a FAQ somewhere, and/or making sure it's complete, updated, and reachable via search engines.
