Raider is either bugged or was nerfed without telling us
I have mained Raider since tech test 2(TT2) and been in every test following. I have noticed a massive change in their viability from open beta onwards.
First off, the stamina consumption seems to be incredibly more than it was during CBT and TT2. It seems unreasonable to have other classes able to spam heavy attacks and unblockables when Raider can only swing 3 or 4 times before he has to regen his entire stamina bar. But thats my opinion.
Second, and this is the big one, the Stampede Charge ability (the one where you sprint into an unblockable, uninterruptible grab) either does not work, or has been nerfed so hard into the dirt that it might as well have been removed. I've been watching this for awhile. The only way you can grab someone with that is if you land DEAD ON and REMAIN dead on for about a second. Its as if the P2P server is having trouble sending the message between the players saying "okay this guy definitely grabbed you" or something. Its a MASSIVE difference when you compare it to how it operated in TT2 and CBT. (It operated more like the current Sugoki grabs. The hitbox is gigantic.)
I have also been unable to cancel guardbreaks since launch. The only way they go through is if the guardbreaker hesitates after landing one.
I'm going to continue to test these things out and try to get some hard footage of this nonsense.
Hopefully someone relevant within Ubi notices this and can figure out if its actually an issue or not.
And fingers crossed its not an official change that we were deemed unworthy to know about.
