Pleas help and thank you.
You cannot purchase a new game, you cannot pre-order a game, you cannot mix it with any old game that has a discount already. WHATS THE POINT???
I thought for a moment that a game provider had FINALLY done something worthwhile in creating a discount on purchasing games with their rewards system. Especially if when purchasing a game you can earn rewards. Its like a "loyalty" program. That doesn't reward you with being loyal.
Or a loyalty program at a automotive shop that gives you a banana at 50% OFF.
*FURIOUS*
Looks like allkeys has my support once again. Sorry for the momentary lapse in judgement. Should never trust EA. Worse than Steam. AT LEAST ORIGIN has a monthly program for 2.99 that allows you to essentially rent certain games and play NEW games as Demos for a few days before purchasing. ABsolutely the most ingenious idea since cloud based gaming. Been waiting for awhile on this one... Too bad they don't let you pre-play brand new games yet. THEY WOULD SELL SO MUCH MORE AND GET MUCH MORE BUSINESS if they did.... Or do that have so little faith in their own games that they're afraid if someone "previews" it they'll hate it and not buy it for fear of making a mistake?
Come on guys!
I have to agree here. The fact that they let you use otherwise useless U points for 20% off codes is fantastic, but to limit it to non pre-release items is completely idiotic. Items that already have promotions running, I can see that. But freaking PRE-ORDERS? 90% of the games I buy are pre-orders, and I know a LOT of people roll the same way. The only thing you're doing is making it so that people will either wait until the day of release to get it, or get it from grey market key resellers, so that you (the developers) basically get robbed.Originally Posted by leaninonlife Go to original post
And guys, after the fiasco that was/is The Division, you REALLY need to stop shooting yourselves in the foot like this. Regardless of how you as a company felt it went, The Division rollout was a mess, and each successive DLC just made it more and more obvious that you could give a you-know-what about the gameworld or story, or even fixing bugs. Since, ya know, the main storyline hasn't been touched really since the final pre-DLC mission.
