so first sorry if my english is a bit off ;O but if i post this at the german forums ubisoft wont give a damn so i post it here.
So i was damn hyped about the Valkyrie and i allready have read a lot about her in the forums, reddit and so on. So the lucky ones who got her played in the technical said that her power was off a good amount so i was expecting a nerf so the balance should be fine in open beta or on release.... but i and i think many others where wrong.
One problem was that the Valkyrie wasnt in the open or even in the closed beta... so there was no feedback from the community and now the game is released its too late to fix it in advance...
I allready read much about her and what i have seen so far all Valkyrie players think that her damage is off by a mile, she is damn slow and her reach is too short.

thats why i thought i will start a poll and get there the Stats; Damage, Range, Speed, Dodge distance and time window for Dodge Counter/Superior Light attacks; into it so the community can decide what the most off part of her is. and MAYBE! if we are licky enought a good guy form the ubisoft team will see this and get the buffs on![]()

I personally think all of the choices in the poll are whats wrong with her, however, I feel the damage isnt the real issue.
Just think, most characters have combos that can easily initiate to deal a lot of damage. Example: PK - Light, light, Heavy, light(for a bleed as well)
I think if they increased everything but the damage, we would notice a damage increase because we could actually land our combos instead of being blocked, parried, or dodged. Yes you can hit her disabling combo, but you get either hunters leap (1 light attack) or an overhead heavy to hit the target on the ground. After that they recover. So this combo is only good in teams or knocking off.
But with speed, and a better window for her dodge guard/attack, I feel combos could easily be started and finished and the damage would start to show
Edit: Forgot to add that with increased speed it was also increase valks survivability, being able to dodge quicker, or trigger her hunter's strike/ shield tackle to block moves.
Damage and Range to me feel off.. For instance theres a knock down combo that used to work, but now she cant really get to them before theyre back up.. The damage is very weak though, takes me way too long to kill someone vs when I played warden / zerker.. Where I feel she should be keeping up in damage between them a bit more.
My only assumption is they made her more of a knock down role or "cc" style role, I tend to allow teammates a lot of kills. Unfortunately that doesnt help me complete my dailies very well lol!
