This is definitely broken again. I've been trying to queue for a Skirmish for 2 days now (well, I say 2 days, the servers were down for most of the day yesterday so I wasn't able to get into anything because of that).

If you insist on keeping Skirmish as a game mode, then change the Deathmatch option to work like Duel/Brawl. Let us pick the mode we want and queue for it specifically. Preferred mode just dramatically increases the number of people who quit at the start of the match.
