So apparently this game has region lock and I am purchasing from Asia (where I live).

However, I will be relocating to another country soon and wondering if I will still be able to play once I arrive there?

Or is this region lock more like Purchase lock and I am free to play anywhere after I activate it from the designated country?

The game itself is not region locked, so it will detect you current location every time you log in and adapt the matchmaking parameters accordingly.

You therefore shouldn't have any issues.

Are you also on Console?
Thats region locked per country, so you know. You can use it from wherever you are but store etc will be from original country of purchase, for PS4.
Everything from financial etc will be region locked.
You can change region on consoles but will, I believe loose what you purchased in another country store.
Stupid...
Anyway if on PC you dont have these issues

But I hear even if its region locked, Ubisoft support will be able to change that anyways right? Just need some sort of proof

Hi,

I am in a similar situation, as I am in the USA for now but moving back to Europe in 2 months time. I would like to
buy the game here, but wasn't sure if it would work properly when I get back. When I looked for the answer online
many posts contradicted each other, and on some websites selling the game there were warning of the type:

"This game can only be activated and played in the following countries.....(list of countries)"

This spooked me a bit from buying it for now, so I would just like to hear an official answer to this problem.
