I just talked to Ubisoft support. Its a "known issue" yet they have a stickied thread advertising the content and nothing to say there is an issue receiving it in game. Your best bet is to look into getting a refund. That the only way these companies will learn they cant just release these games and ask for extra money while delivering nothing.
I did just speak with an agent and he said the sunbeam effect replaced the smoke effect so that's that issue. But I have all of the same things missing as you are. I also got this thing called a season pass ticket, which just says it tells me stuff about the season pass, why would i want this. I payed $100 for this content, im not paying $40 more for something that should've been included in gold edition. Pre-ordered the deluxe edition on XB1, missing content even though it says the pack is installed. Contacted Microsoft support, said they can't do anything, made a support case since the game released (the 14th) but I still haven't had any contact back. Maybe I'm being impatient but I believe if I paid for something, I should get it. Since this seems like a widespread issue, I thought it would be resolved quickly as many people are experiencing this and are basically getting cheated out of their money (at least it seems like it). I'm missing the 2 scavenger crates and the 7-day champion status, but have received the ornaments and emblems. Weird I only get 1/2 of what I paid for. If this isn't resolved within 2 weeks I am going to demand a refund as it kind of seems like false advertising. If ubisoft isn't willing to give us our missing content or doesn't plan on compensating us, all of those who have been affected should demand a refund. It seems like a case of false advertising if Ubisoft is unwilling to compensate those who have been wronged. I say this because there's what seems like a widespread issue, and if they come out with a statement saying there's nothing they can do or just plain out say they won't do anything, that is an issue. That is false advertising, as we have paid extra for something that is supposed to come with the edition we bought but haven't received it, while the company says that they won't do anything to help. This is theoretical as it would take ubisoft making a statement such as that and them showing no proof of any intention to help. While we wait, let's just enjoy this game as I find it pretty competitive and fun. Besides the feeling of being cheated, the feeling of chopping some viking n knight heads kind of sweeten it just a little (like 0.1% because feeling cheated isn't good, especially when mula, guapo, dough, cash monay, etc. is involved). GO SAMURAI BOIII. Hope this ordeal ends soon

My ticket addressing the lack of crates and champion status has still not been replied to. I'm going to get a refund for this game and wait to buy it again once it inevitably goes on sale. As much as I love this game I have to do something and all you can do is speak with your wallet. Had same problem at launch with gold edition purchase. Only some stuff showed, so I bought the cheapest steel pack for 4.99 and what do you know.. as soon as it said the transaction was complete..I then get my messages about championship status (season pass) and outfits /emblems available.
Just saying what worked for me-not telling you to spend more money. ( I myself used microsoft reward points from browsing to convert to MS store money>Xbox purchase of steel)
