    For Honor full release not launching

    The processes for both anticheat and for honor both start up after the splash screen, but the application doesn't launch. No black screen, no crash, it just outright isn't there, even though the process is. I tried everything I could find online, including restarts, driver updates, antivirus, re-installs, nothing seems to work. Any advice? I was really, really looking forward to this one. :c

    try to start the game with "/disablesoundengine". that works for me, but you have then no sound in the game, what is not acceptable...

    Hi there, Derotasis,

    Welcome to the forums!

    Can you try the following steps?:

    Open your Control Panel, and make sure to uninstall anything which is related to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

    Once this is done, please download and install the following files :

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=21254
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=29
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2010: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl....aspx?id=14632
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2012: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl....aspx?id=30679
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2013: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=40784
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2015: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=48145

    If the above links do not work you can find the full collection here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2977003

    Can you also confirm which drive the game is installed on?

    Thanks

    Same problem here, i've tried every troubleshooting workaround on the net, nothing works! The forhonor en ac processes are running but thats all.

    My system rec are all fine (exept i'm runnig with two 6 core Intel Xeons but never ever gave me any problems )

    It looks like I bought a very expensive splashscreen, Intensive logging on my PC didn't show any results.

    (had the same problem with the open Beta)

    Well since i don't expect a solution form UBI (at least soon) , I'll keep trying, keep you posted if I find anything.

    The Division and WatchDogs 2 i can run with any problems.

    Xeon users: disable Hyperthreading in BIOS. Worked for me in the beta. But I am not buying the game unless it is fixed. I don't want to reboot my machine three times a day just to get a game working.

    I have the same issue. Game is installed on C. Reinstalled all MS Visual apps.

    All i get is a splash screen and both forhonor and EAC run as small processes in task manager. Nothing else.

    This was happening with the BETA as well, though I hoped it would be fixed.

    I have a dual Xeon set up as well, but other games work fine.

    If anyone finds a fix please let me know.. I want to hack and slash stuff!
