I would also advise consulting our thread here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...tarting-Issues
Hi, Ubi. Why you are ignoring thread about our NAT problems? It's so hard to say: "we are working on it"/ "we don't know how to fix it"?

Totally reinstalled on C:\ (After an hour of deleting any files I could that would give me enough room to install). Then the same error happened.

You cannot expect a 36gb game to fit on C:\.

This is a real bum out

    FINALLY working!!

Guys, I don't know if that may help you or apply to YOUR situation, but I finally fixed this nasty error in my system!

The problem is: this game expects your \documents folder (for \documents\my games\, I suppose) to be in C:.
If you moved (like myself) your documents folder in another drive, like D: , game will give you this error.
Move back your documents folder to c, and game will start!
    Hope that helps!

I have the exact same error. It's telling me to delete the following folder : c:\ProgramData\For Honor Data. However there is no such folder as I bought through Steam.

The funny thing I played fine just a few hours ago, never touched anything and now I get this error out of the blue?

I just uninstalled and am now redownloading the whole game to reinstall it again. If that doesn't work, I'm going to be pissed, even more so than I already am. The issues I've had with this game... Un****ingbelievable.

    Hey all,

    Go to C:\ProgramData\
This folder is usually hidden, you will need to un-hide it first.

There you will find possibly two folders of "For honor"
    Delete both of them.
Inside of them are your settings for the game and nothing of importance.

Do this before you uninstall the game (Like I did), as uninstalling the game will NOT solve your issue.

Also, running as admin mod will most likely not solve "Unable to access data folder" error.

    Happy hunting!

I found out how to fix it.

I found out how to fix this bug. Its quite simple actually. Instead of searching for the folder by just clicking, look at the top and type in the location. The location you type in has to be exact though.

It is not your luck - it is the poor service we paid for.

top of where and type what? good instructions. they should hire you at ikea.

Edit: okay now i figured out what you said. Go to search bar (or ask cortana), type in "C:\ProgramData\For Honor Data". you'll find two folders; "For Honor" and "For Honor Data". Delete the "For Honor Data" folder. restart the game. you'll be good to go.
