experienced player always dodge back after the shield dash to avoid the sweep .After a unblockable shield dash , go for the other shield bash : Heavy +GB now do the sweep .People get disoriented and forget to dodge the sweep this time. Then vary your move dont always go for a light dash attack when your opponent is on the floor.step forward and perform a GB while the enemy is stepping back on his feet.
i really believe that after the buff she will be a monster.Cause despite her weakpoints shes still very good
only when i can guarantee a hit (after guardbreak and on people on the floor)Originally Posted by Tyrjo Go to original post
there is no point using it as its too slow and is countered way too easily...
sadly lights arent that fast either so i personally like to play her as a "counter-attacker" even though her side-dodge-attacks are also rather slow AND her dodging in general seem worse than most other classes (i've tested this with some heroes so far and its easier to dodge with orochi, pk and warden)
parry seems fine to me (normal and superior light).Originally Posted by Tyrjo Go to original post
deflect window seems a bit tighter than the other assassins and dodge just feels off.
Rather than make a new thread this seems like the best place to post.
I'm having trouble getting execute prompts on the valk with light attacks specifically. I get them with heavy attacks, but those usually aren't optimal. What am I missing about the mechanic? I have a prestige 3 Warlord, and compared to valk he feels like easy mode. I never noticed problems on him with either attack, unless I wasn't paying attention.
You say youve played a class to reputation 3 and dont know how executes work?Originally Posted by xEVIL WAYS Go to original post
You cant get them from light attacks at all.
Only heavy final hits can proc an execution.
also: shoulder-pins do NOT count for executions either even though they are triggered by a heavyOriginally Posted by Eleanor-Ripley Go to original post![]()
I figured it was that, but I never saw any clear answer. Warlord has his fancy light attacks that I can parry with too. I swear I've gotten executes from them before in combos, but it could be that I'm used to his faster heavies. I had been playing him on muscle memory, and I have to be a lot more deliberate with the valk since the timing feels completely different.Originally Posted by Eleanor-Ripley Go to original post
