    Uplay Servers Busy?

Some employees seem to be using the companies internet to download porn, launching Uplay and Ubisoft into the dark ages. Many of their customers appear to be experiencing dial-up speed updates of 70Kb/s, made particularly distressing during a 14.4 Gig update. At this time we are unsure as to whether or not the company knows about their issue, as they appear to be on holiday. Many shut-ins have left the shelter of their homes and are now walking outside, scaring the locals who are now trying to exorcise the 'Vampires' and 'Ghouls'. Local authorities are trying to calm the masses, saying it could be a few days or even a week before Uplay and Ubisoft servers are back to normal and the freakish fiends return to their caves.
Seriously though, anyone else getting rubbish speeds? I spent all day updating just Rainbow 6 Siege, of which 2 Gig remains and is predicted to take another 8 hours. The exact same ETA I was given at 9 AM, over 12 hours ago. Respond with urgency somebody who can explain what is going on. Any nerd who tells me that its my computer will be exorcised.

    slow speeds

I'm on a Gigabit symetrical fiber (Gigabit down, Gigabit up) and Uplay still struggling to download above 800Kbps. Settings in Uplay set to no bandwidth limit. Uplay is allowed through the firewall. Something is amiss. Might be a bottleneck on their end.

    Issue Here As Well

100 MB connection, only 1.2 MB DL for the past hour or so. Only in typing this has it gone up to 4 but started dropping just as quick as it scaled up.

    Slow Slow Slow

I'm on 200Mbps up 50Mbps down and in uPlay I get 3-5Mbps. What gives! I get just about 200Mbps in steam and in Origin. This is no good at all! Especially with the free Assassins Creed game.

EDIT: Weird thing! My network monitor shows uPlay Launcher using ~18Mbps but the only thing downloading is Assassins Creed Black Flag, and uPlay shows it downloading in the 3-5Mbps range.

There is an issue with Uplay because I can't download anything for 10 mins I get full 1.2mb/s then after 10 mins it slowly drops to 0 and that's it I have to shut down Uplay and restart it and I have to keep doing it to download some of the game, currently trying to download The Crew and The Division both 60gb in total and I only have 8gb downloaded it's f**king stupid. You know it's Uplay but your blaming users instead

Having this too, my task manager says it's eating ~12Mbp/s, but the program itself reports 1.2Mbp/s. I'm certain it's not because of anything else - in the processes tab it says uPlay is taking 12Mbp/s, I've also paused/unpaused the download. I've never seen anything like it, but it seems really suspicious, so I'm just uninstalling it for now since it's unusable like this anyway.

    Why?

This thread has been here for a while yet Ubisoft do not even acknowledge that the problem is them not us.

Likely they're simply forum moderators that simply dispense general pre-crafted advice that don't have any involvement whatsoever with the software's development. Realistically there's not much they can do about the company's conscious decision to purposely throttle major downloads to third-world rates, they probably wish they could though.

Wish they were able to just say they were bottlenecking us though, or maybe the destruction of Net Neutrality's happening faster than we thought.
