    Please man, can't you understand? We told you that our connections are perfect, we run many downloads on many other gaming platforms and it burn the s**t out of the gigabytes. But when it comes to uplay, the thing goes down slowly and slowly to a ridiculous 1MB/s or even worth... After 4 years of messages here, can't you just fix the problem?

    Please fix your launcher ubisoft

    can you just PLEASE for the love of your consumers make the launcher AGAIN in order to solve the connection problem? it's annoying af.

    no connection issues


    but then in uplay after opening my ports, opening the launcher as administrator, after booting my pc in safe mode with the network feature, after hours of stupid non-working "solutions".


    AND NO, MY BANDWIDTH IS NOT LIMITED, STOP TRYING TO GIVE US SOLUTION WHEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REPORT THIS TO YOUR SUPERIORS.

    here's the same but closely. I've just clicked it, just started installing it to prove them wrong 5mins left ffs
    you know what this is uplay? it's called a better launcher. 12 CURRENTS mb/s

    AND I'VE CALLED MY Internet Service PROVIDER, THEY'VE RESET EVERY PATTERN OF MY INTERNET, BUT IT'S STILL THE SAME SLOW UPLAY LAUNCHER. SO IS YOUR PROBLEM, NOT OUR

    OK Ubi Support Staff. Im going to say I hope you simply don't know any better instead of lying to your customers. Running any application incl Uplay as admin does nothing that can change the way an application access the internet. The idea it influences your download speed is beyond insane and lacks any understand of what the run as admin fuction does. Please stop telling people this, its so useless and inaccurate it hurts my IT soul to read it.

    Futhermore the troubleshoot link posted mainly suggests things when your entire internet connection has issues. As most if not all of us have stated here is that we're only having issues with the Uplay download speed. Once again making all these troubleshooting suggestions useless.

    Just be honest with everyone. These speeds low as they are, are way to stable to be anything other than throttling from your end. You don't have enough capacity so you are limiting bandwidth. Cause my client downloads a lot faster at 4am. Do you think this is because the servers are less busy at 4am or do you think the run as admin command isn't needed after midnight? lol

    I have the same problem, I have a 400-500/500 connection and only getting 14MB/s download speed.

    I`m trying to install rainbow six siege (100g version) on uplay and it says its gonna take 2 hours when I installed it on steam in 15 minutes.

    Guys Download TCP Optimizer 4 And Set Optimal in The Bottom,After Do Apply, Reboot Your System. Do Not Forget Do Backup of your network settings!.
    My Download Speed from 2.5 mb/s boosted to 30 mb/s with network 500+ mb/s.
    This Worked for me.

    New to Uplay. Disspointed.

    My download speed in Uplay is just ~300kb/s. I'm running 25mb upload speed internet. When I closed my steam it suddenly jumped to ~3mb/s. Coincidence? Could this be a region problem? I'm from SEA.

    Possible solution

    I'm from Brazil, I had this problem right now.
    One thing that instantaneously speedup my download was change my DNS.

    I just changed for Cloudfare and Google's one (1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8).

    Thank you for your posts in this thread fatrogslim, Paffgen, IYagol, Belthazor23, ThePPMan., Twentix3voltion, apaoapao and renanlricci.

    If you are continuing to experience issues with your download speeds, I would appreciate it if you could complete the troubleshooting steps I recommended on the previous page, use an ethernet connection where possible, and also try the suggestion of renanlricci to update your DNS, to see if this should have any impact. You are of course welcome to revert this afterward if not.

    As I requested before, I would also find it helpful to know where you are based, and what ISPs (Internet Service Providers) you are services by. I can then look into any potential issues that we have reported to us. I have not yet received any additional information in this thread that can help me investigate further.

    Hey.

    All seems to be fine here, reaching max speeds all of the time, make sure your launcher is not limited to a certain download speed in the settings.
