I played the Alpha they were both available in and they deffo needed to nerf Valk.
But god did you go overboard.
The Shugoki I just duelled just guardbreak then unblockabled me hit after hit. I'd make a swing he'd block, guardbreak and smash me across the map.
Also what the hell is with the shugoki charge healing him and doing so much damage?! That's absolutely effing ridiculous! NO. JUST NO.
Reduce the damage and drop the ******* heal. Who's bright idea was that crap?!
Speed the Valk up just a tad and reduce her stun times and it'll be fair again!

Just played her tonight...she literally does no damage, is so slow its torturous, cant combat because the timing between her attacks is way below average reaction time, her sweep cant his anyone who dodges left or right, her charge....just sidestep or back up. Okay, well, I disagree with your disagreement. I've mained her all morning and there is so much stacked against her it isn't even funny. Unless you're near a convenient cliff she is more than likely going to lose the fight. She has great disables and what not but it's all dependent on a variety of factors that never seem to play well into her favor. She is punishingly slow and has deceptively short range. In fact, you can do a Spear Sweep and put them on the ground and the only move you can perform to hit them while they're there is a Pouncing Thrust because -literally nothing else will hit- from your position. You have to move forward and risk giving them a free block or do a pouncing thrust and hope to christ they don't know her well enough to do anything about it.Originally Posted by tcs1991.ts Go to original post
But furthermore, her damage output is -abyssmal-, even for a Hybrid class. She has one bleed ability which is entirely dependent on you doing a dodge-block, which super sketchy considering that the game likes to just consider it a dodge sometimes. At which point, you try the Shoulder Pin and are left with a -SUPER- telegraphed heavy attack that they will inevitably block, or worse, parry. Her entire playstyle is based around watching your opponent and reacting accordingly, but most of that can be outdone by a simple guard block on their behalf because you spend so much time watching their every move that you just can't react in time to tech it.
The best part is a duel I had with Shugoki, in which he utterly nullifies her charge ability entirely, which reduces her combat capability by effectively half considering almost all of her power comes from her disables which he just shrugs off and ignores. I have cuts on my knuckles from losing my god damn mind from that fight and beating the hell out of my desk in frustration.
