Guard break counter broken? | Forums

Hello
Uhm, I tried doing the advanced tutorial but I cant get past the part where the game wants me to counter guardbreak the guy. Im doing everything like I used to during the betas, but its not working anymore, did they break the counterguardbreak or am I missing something?

try different windows maybe? i know i had to press it when the broken red shield was just about to disappear from the attacker (just before it would show up on myself)
can't test right now, i'm a simple canadian.

It's broken for me too. I tried different key bind but it just doesn't work. Unable to progress past the first part of the advanced tutorial.

Edit: seems the timing has to be perfect as teksuo said

the timing window is a bit tighter

It was broken only in the tutorial. Works the same in normal match. Just try around, they changed the timing or something.
