    • Camera- The cameras are just really bad in this game. Their to close to your character making it so all you see is his back and upper body. The camera needs to be zoomed out a lot more so people can see more around them and get a better view of their surroundings. Also the constant switching camera of left right left right needs to go. If I want to switch my camera then I'll simply click the button to do so but instead I'm constantly having to fight against the camera on trying to keep it on the side that I want. Feel like my RB will be broken in no time with how much I need to click it just to readjust my camera.

    • Character movements- The movements on characters just feel so bad so many times I feel like I'm just gliding and sliding rather then actually walking and running. The characters need more weight to them more reaction to the environment. The only time the character reacts to environment is when you gun is holstered but with the gun out it just feels like your sliding around the surface. Characters need more weight to them they're like feathers. Make the characters more responsive it really just feels so clunky as of now. As good game to follow for character movements imo would be Future soldier or splinter cell games. Make the characters actually more tactical feeling and also kind of adjust their posture so they kind of lean right now they just stand straight up in a 180° angle all the time.

    • Controller feedback- There is almost no controller feedback from actions in this game. When you walk/run the controller doesn't vibrate, when you drive and whatnot you get nothing as well. More feedback in controller vibrations would be good, make the controller vibrate when driving I mean afterall were driving on rocks and dirt. Same as when walking and running controller should vibrate more often and also when you get in cover you should feel that feedback in the controller.

    • Vehicle controls and Physics- Ok the vehicle control are just really bad. They feel like they have no traction they constantly swerve all over the place like if your driving on ice or just drunk. Also when you drive off a cliff the car literally just goes right down and starts driving over everything like its a super tank nothing can stop this thing. When driving off a mountain top the car should be launched rather then just falling straight down like if gravity became 10x stronger all a sudden. The helicopters and planes feel really bad as well. Constantly having to shake the helicopter back and forward just to maintain your altitude. The turning on them feels really bad the rotation for air vehicles shoukd be on the bumpers RB rotates right LB rotates left. Flying and car driving needs to be more like GTA V for it to even be fun in this game and with how big of a role cars and that play this is something that really needs to be adjusted.

    • Bullet Velocity and Bullet drop- Now I said the gunplay feels good but the bullet Velocity doesn't. The bullet are like literally little pellets. The flight time on bullets is just way to long. I was shooting at a guy in the back from like 80m away and it literally felt like my bullets took 3 seconds to travel across the air and hit him. Same for pretty much all other guns to Sniper you shoot from a distance not even that far and it takes quite sometime for the bullets to finally land. Bullet Velocity needs to be toned up a lot more so the guns feel like guns and not pellets. Also the bullet drop is so unrealistic why is a sniper from like 60m out having to adjust for bullet drop. Bullet drop shouldn't kick in for at least 200m or so.

    • Sound effects- The sound effects are really bad guns don't sound like guns you can't hear anything really everything is so low pitched and dull. When you blow a car up theres is almost no sound at all the explosion sounds like it happened 5km away but in reality you were like 5ft away. Guns are so dull and low pitch they need a real bang to them more echo more feedback. Were shooting guns in a canyon they need to be loud. But as of now you can literally hear nothing going on in terms of sound effects cant hear the footsteps of your character nothing. Can barely hear the characters talk. Sound effects need some serious work. Also the radio in the worlds need to be toned down. They're so loud when you're in a base you literally hear the radio over everything that needs to be lowered theres no reason the radios should be so loud especially when you're not even near the thing it just gets insanely loud when you do get near it.

    • Cover system- Now I enjoy the system this game has but it needs some work. When you get against cover your character should actually slightly stick to it to actually make it feel like you're hugging the wall. Also the lean feature needs work. Whenever I try to shoot over the top my guy stays crouch the whole time and this results in you constantly just shooting the wall. Same when leaning out the sides you lean out the side and end up just shooting the wall because you were far enough out. Also movements in cover are bad when my character is facing left you walk left he goes that direction. But now if I push right to try and go that way instead of him adjusting his body around he just walks backwards making this really clunky system

    • Clothing options- the character customization is great but theres really not that many options in terms of clothing i'm hoping there a lot more left out for beta purposes but I'm just starting to believe what we see is what were getting in terms of clothing options.

    • The world- The map looks great but one of my concerns was that it'll be dead and it kind of is. More Cartel member roaming around/driving would be nice. More unidad helicopters upping the chance to get spotted etc...

    • Mini Map- remoce the hotzone indicators on the mini map it takes so much away from the game knowing where every enemy is at. The world needs to be more dangerous since were behind enemy lines. Shouldn't be able to just run in without any care in the world simply because your mini map says Theres no enemies around.

    • Obtaining Air vehicles- right now theres just simply to many it makes them no fun really. All of a sudden all these people are billionaire with helicopters. They need to reduce the amount drastically and the ones they do have should only be obtainable through heavily guarded areas. Like an air field, mansions etc... that way people want a chopper they go to that location on the map and fight for one rather then just having them on every corner.
    ―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ――

Some Game additions that are pretty easy

    • Random Encounters- The game should have random encounters at times like, resuce hostages from cartel members and get a reward. Gather intel from civilians to find the where about of a HVT. Convoy missions should be random encounters rather then side missions. Lots of options here to really add to the world.

    • Events- Stuff like an air drop is coming in you need to secure the weapon supplies before the cartel does, defend against waves of cartel members trying to secure intel of your hideout. Again lots of thing to add to the world to really make it feel more lively and keep people entertained.

    • More roaming Enemies- There needs to be more enemies roaming around the world like some of them are driving around more unidad helicopters flying above trying to attack you if spotted. Just more combat engagements would go a long way.

    • Infiltrating checkpoints- infiltrating checkpoints needs to be more rewarding. Every little checkpoint should have some sort of Lieutenant that you can interrogate and find the coordinates of a hidden cartel base. Successfully infiltrate this base to gain a reward such as a new piece of clothing unlock some resources etc...

    • Trading resources- The ability to trade resources like Food, Medical, etc... trade these to little shoos around the map to again unlock some unique items like clothing options new weapon skins etc...
great post ive highlighted the bits i agree with you on, these definitely need addressing in game especially the camera, when flying the big helicopters the camera is pretty much right on the tail which is way too close, need the ability to zoom the camera out, the camera when viewing your character could do with being zoomed out a little more too

also there is no clock, no sense of time, personally i would like to know how long before dawn and dusk to plan an attack!

    I think so too!

    Let's keep this going.

I was reading through the forum and looking at a lot of gameplay footage from the closed beta and one think I can definitely say was a big complaint was a big deal was the time lapse from dissapearing bodies:

It's WAY too short. Like immersion-breakingly short.

I'd also like to hear from more of you on the bullet drop issue, if anyone has a more solid overal justified view on this. To me, it tottaly brakes immersion when you shoot far and the bullet looks like a stone from a ballista. Really, it looks like a mortar gun, so to me that's a big deal, but maybe not to everyone. I'd love to hear a more balanced opinio. On one hand, I feel that since the game isn't really built as a "sniper's paradise" type thing, if the bulltet drop was reallistic most players wouldn't even notice it, so there's appealing to that crowd. On the other hand maybe the curve could be looked at, so that at 1km, the bullet doesn't have to shot like an arrow in a medieval game...

And also please AI Squad Customization....

Lo, sorry, had to drop that one in again....

Here are my thoughts. A lot of them are already been explained so I wont gu in details about all of them
I've just divided my post in 2 sections, the small tweaks and the bigger change and everything is ranked by priority order

To be clear I was only playing in ghost with the HUD turn off so I'm not gonna talked about the f*** red mark on the minimap and the 3d marker above each enemy even in ghost....

    SMALL TWEAKS:

    • First of AI customization, much needed, this might actually be a big change but hell it is my most wanted things!
    • Remove enemy spotting sound (I was trying to play the game with the most immersion I begin to see you you just have this sound comming out of nowhere)
    • Decrease enemy reaction time in ghost difficulty by a lot!
    • Restrict loadout to safehouses in ghost, it ruins all the immersion and the realism the game is trying to bring
    • Time skipping, you should have a options to wait to a specific time of day to plan your next move. As the devs keep saying in theirs interview you are free to do what you want but if I want to sneak in a camp at night I'm just free to fast travel 20 time to speed up time.
    • The "!" missions where you interogtae someone. It should only give you ONE intel (maybe just in ghost I already see kids whining) right now you just have to find 4 lieutnant to mark all unlockables in the region. It's kind of pointless of creating an open world like this if you just the player by the hand and say go here and the here. There is no more need for exploration...
And for those who will say just interogate them I acutally like this feature I love to sneak into a camp to interogate a lieutnant so I don't want to skip a feature of the game
    • Talking about the interogatory feature this should work with our safehouses like you have to bring the lieutnant to one of your safehouses to interogate him. The safehouses right now is completely pointless and the feature where you can put a lieutnant in the trunk is for what for then ?
    • Ability to unequip weapons and backpack. Let's say I want to have some kind of civilian look to blend in with the locals I can put a jean a polo a cap with no body armor but I can't get rid of this s*** on my back for some reason
    • Adding to that I would like to have some holster customization aswell so if i want to go on mission with only civilian clothes I witch from my leg holster to a more low profile one on the belt.
    • Nvg model on the head would be much apprecited also. Cmon sam fisher has one with a proper anmation when you put it down.
    • Way too much choppers scattered around the map. I get why but it completely ruins the immersion and the realism of the world.
    • More mounted weapons type Cmon we are in a poor country let's bring up some pkm and dshk...
    • Option to remove the enemy marker in the map.
    • Fix all camo problem like m81 or the difference in the multicam between pants and combat shirt (more camo for the crye comat set would also be appreciated)
    • More vest options, the one we had felt not great. Never seen thoses in use in the military. Please bring in some jpc, lbt 6094, lbt 1961....
    • and please speed up the walk animation!

    BIGGER CHANGES:

As many have already said we need a advanced ai order feature where you can individually give orders to your team mates, with roe and everything talked in the previsou posts.

Clothing should affect the gameplay not just cosmetic.
    • a chest rigg should give me more ammo,
    • a body armor should give me some damage resistance
    • a green ghillie should make me less detectables in forest area
    • a civilian apparel should make me less detectables in city (need to unequip both primary and backpack for that)
    • It should also affect our stats an helmet and full body armor with huge backpack should give me great resistance damage but it should also affect my stamina

Using this you have to adapt your kit (weapons, magazines accessory) and your clothing for every mission
Actually this could be an idea to have a real inventory system .. no? maybe just for ghost ?

Safehouses should have a purpose like bring lieutnant here or go here to finish mission and report back. Force loadout only in this places... Right now they are completely pointless

More random mission (listen to others peoples about that a lot of great ideas cames up, hvt rescue & extract , csar...)

Rappelling from clif or even building

More interaction with civilian. We should be able to talk with them gain their trust by making mission for them maybe like a wife who's got her husband taken prisonner by the cartel you have to extract him. Once finished the village is favorable with your presence in the country you could maybe have a weapon crate in a friendly villages....

Hiding bodies. What kind of infiltration game comes up without that ??? oh I gues they solve the problem by making the bodies disapearing in about 10 seconds....

Flashlight light, ir light, ir laser and ir strobe would be awesome ! Like this with no hud you can pinpoint where your frind is aiming and gives also the ai the order for sync shot

And the bigger thing in last more scenario/ background/ cinematics
The backstory feel great but with the beta we run through one region and we encounter only one cutscene, ONE CUTSCENE!!! (not counting the intro cutscene of the game) I really did not feel that I was part of the whole story. let's just look at some games like uncharted or the witcher. Both have an amazing narative you get inside the story and it really help you immerse inside the world the devs have created. Here I just have the feeling that we have a big open world and I have outpost everywhere and i just have to kill everyone Im' not seeing a bigger picture and it's a shame because I really love the settings drug cartel war type of things.
I actually never see an open world shooter with a great narative but this game has so much potential it really p**** me off.

Most of my point are already comunity requested things but I wanted to add my 2 cent
Sorry for my bad english I write that a bit in a hurry

Well, it's a great idea. I for one would like Charactersmith and Gunsmith for the AI team, since I'm probably going to spend most of my time in Wildlands solo.

Great Job, RV_whiplash. I'd just like to also ask us, as a ghost squad, to try and not add things that might not be there BECAUSE the beta was so limited. An example of this would be difficulty conversations, as the @UbiKeeba has already mentioned, is has to do with the zone (I don't buy it either, but that's the line, so), but there are other examples I've been seeing like for example mission variety: we don't know yet what kinds of missions are in store. They HAVE been doing this for four years, and there ARE +100 missions, so let's leave that suspended for now, fair enough?

Gear having effect is something that WOULD be REALLY amazing, especially combined with AI Squad Customization, but I'm not confident on this one. Not only because of the scope of the gameplay and branding questions (future soldier didn't have it, for instance, while Splinter Cell does), but also because it's too much work for a month. Unless they are totally ****ing with us (and why would they risk the sales, I've already returned my pre-order), it's most likely NOT gonna happen. But...

    - TIME SKIPPING seems totally doable to me. And super necessary as a QoL thing.

    - Hiding bodies is big job (animations and everything) but, Jesus, how does this game not have that, that's crazy to me.

    - Again, game options. Look at Far Cry 3, then look at the Ziggy mod, then look at Far Cry 4. The gameplay menu is FULL of the interface issues that players just wanted to do without. So enemy spotting sound, all these things you mentioned could fall under this category.

And finally I'd also like to say that the safehouse idea (of having to drag liutenants) is amazing. Of course: you probably wouldn't risk interrogating someone on the spot, while there's 20 enemies outside and the guys knows what the cartel will do to his family if he talks. It makes perfect sense. That being said, my thought is that it's absolutely undoable, since they didn't really built the architecture to be able to leave with a guy in toe. So you wouldn't be able to ask one of your ghosts to take him.... it make things complicated, I think. But great idea.

    Great list Whiplash!

For bullet drop, I always thought developers should just plug in the numbers from existing ballistic charts, and not just make it up as they go... As an outsider, I never understood why anyone would try to reinvent to wheel and not just use the existing numbers data for bullet drop velocity & Kinetic Energy of the projectile at a given distance. Upping the bullet velocity would be a welcome fix.

    .
I'm still sceptic on this. Creating a random mission feature is somethin BIG and we didn't have that in the beta we only had scripted mission. When we finished the beta there was no other mission that pop up randomly to do. You of course were free to roam around and go back to each camp but there was no objective and that is what I'm talking about.

Of course the main 100+ missions of the campaign will be awesome but my concern is that when you finish a region there is nothing more to do in there. I completetd the beta at 100% all mission all stuff to collect ... but when I finished I just deleted my save and started from scratch because there was nothing else to see.

I would like that every 10 20 minutes the rebels or Bowman call me saying that there is a prisoner hold in a camp and we have to secure him or that a drone has been shut down in the forest and we have to secure it recover the data and blow it up before the cartel found it. Or as I talk in my previous post when you walk in villages people give you mission...

One new idea I had this night was giving a real role or purpose to the rebel.
In real world SF team are often send to train locals to fight on their own.

It could be great that at the beginning you have just a few rebels here and there on the map then you have to secure a SBC camp and establish a camp for the rebel then from there you can upgrade the base something similar to xcom. You can send rebels in missions, when you steal an enemy truck with machine gun you can bring it back to your base and it will raise the strength of the rebels in that region.

And you have to do this in every region on the map. If there is no base in a specific region you can't contact support or mortar. You first have to establish the rebel network...

This could bring a bit of depth to the gameplay.

So this may be a feature that will be part of the main game when it launches, but from what was in the beta I didn't see it included.

There absolutely needs to be accessibility options for people with disabilities. At a bare minimum, this should include options for people that are colorblind, and the ability to completely customize keyboard layout/controller layout.
