I'd like to see bipods back in the game, especially with the dynamic cover mechanics it would actually make a lot of sense. Plus, aesthetically, sniper rifles and LMGs look weird without them.

Also, if we must have access to all unlocked weapons at any given time (I'm not crazy about that, but I get the gameplay reasons why that's the case), it would be nice to be able to edit the list so I don't have to scroll past 15 weapons I have no intention of ever using every time I try to switch to the weapons I do want to use.

Will just relay my message from another post....Firstly, thoroughly enjoyed the open world approach to this game, being able to do what i want when i want is awesome. The environment is fantastic and it looks absolutely stunning. The different type of regions is truly an experience, can see a lot of work has been put into it and I enjoyed the beta overall.

My Biggest gripe with the game is our Ghost Team. This is coming from someone that has played since the first GR and like to play single player.

    CLOTHING CUSTOMIZATION
This is a must have feature. As It's been said by many others here on the forums. It completely breaks the immersion if i'm decked out in military gear and camo's (Some pants and tops are completely different shades) with a helmet and my team mates are running around in Casual Friday at work clothes eg. the one guy with a striped face bandanna looks ridiculous. I have no complaints about the team members themselves and their gender and hairstyle. But we should be given this option, It's gonna feel a bit odd if i'm running up a snow covered mountain with a beanie and fleece and they're just chilling in a t shirt.

    WEAPON CUSTOMIZATION
In the Previous games we had the option to choose what weapons our team used. Especially in the GRAW series. Don't mind if it's not full gunsmith etc. But the option to have two snipers or all assault rifles would be awesome.

    TACTICS / ORDER WHEEL
Hate to say this but the Team felt really dumb AI wise. I would tell them to go to the right side of a village to flank during my stealth approach and they would run right through the village and alert the cartel straight away. They seemed to make no effort to sneak past anyone or flank.
This is where i believe a waypoint system would be very handy. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to implement. Or they could at least stealth kill the guy that's about to detect them.
A Breach and Clear option would be handy as well (the radio tower missions) ...i mean rainbow six has had this for years.

In the earlier Ghost Recon series we could individually order team mates around and it was really handy. Could put my Sniper in a certain position to cover me from above or on a hilltop outside a village. Or have each team member flank and meet in the middle in a pincer like approach. Watch a certain direction.
This option would be really handy, especially on the Harder Difficulties.

Add more realism to this game and thats it for me atm i love this game so far what i played in beta
However if we ARE suggesting an option, a setting for the attentivness of Enemy AI, as both I, Zjinxy, and many other have suggested on this forum, we have to think about what this does to Co-op: the reason why difficulty ONLY changes damage resistance is so that everyone can have the same game jump-in jump-out, etc. They're NOT going to jeoperdize the precious Co-op system. Which is why I would like to make my next suggestion! Are you taking this down, Keeba?!?

I would like to request that the Enemy AI spot ONLY the ghosts that they spot. Which is to say, if my buddy get's spotted, I don't necessarily get spoted as well, so that the AI "spotting time" setting doesn't get in the way of playing jump-in jump-out co-op. So consider it as two different difficulty settings: one for how much damage you can take, and another for how quickly the AI spots you. Those two things:

    1. STILL allow the established Co-op
    2. Make the game MUCH more flexible in terms of difficulty
    3. Make the game much more immersive because not only do I get to decide how quickly is belieavable for me, but also: if I get spotted, Weaver up in the mountains with his sniper rifle remains concealed.

Well, Matt, I appreciate you chipping in, but if bipods aren't in the game at this point, they likely won't get included by launch. I mean, we're talking about constructing a whole new set of art assets, meshes, physics, etc. And the game is 20 days away from a day 1 patch. As so far as the list goes, I think you already can filter by type, but maybe it would be possible to filter by other variables? DPS, maybe? Not sure it's necessary, though.... But thanks!

    • Camera- The cameras are just really bad in this game. Their to close to your character making it so all you see is his back and upper body. The camera needs to be zoomed out a lot more so people can see more around them and get a better view of their surroundings. Also the constant switching camera of left right left right needs to go. If I want to switch my camera then I'll simply click the button to do so but instead I'm constantly having to fight against the camera on trying to keep it on the side that I want. Feel like my RB will be broken in no time with how much I need to click it just to readjust my camera.

    • Character movements- The movements on characters just feel so bad so many times I feel like I'm just gliding and sliding rather then actually walking and running. The characters need more weight to them more reaction to the environment. The only time the character reacts to environment is when you gun is holstered but with the gun out it just feels like your sliding around the surface. Characters need more weight to them they're like feathers. Make the characters more responsive it really just feels so clunky as of now. As good game to follow for character movements imo would be Future soldier or splinter cell games. Make the characters actually more tactical feeling and also kind of adjust their posture so they kind of lean right now they just stand straight up in a 180° angle all the time.

    • Controller feedback- There is almost no controller feedback from actions in this game. When you walk/run the controller doesn't vibrate, when you drive and whatnot you get nothing as well. More feedback in controller vibrations would be good, make the controller vibrate when driving I mean afterall were driving on rocks and dirt. Same as when walking and running controller should vibrate more often and also when you get in cover you should feel that feedback in the controller.

    • Vehicle controls and Physics- Ok the vehicle control are just really bad. They feel like they have no traction they constantly swerve all over the place like if your driving on ice or just drunk. Also when you drive off a cliff the car literally just goes right down and starts driving over everything like its a super tank nothing can stop this thing. When driving off a mountain top the car should be launched rather then just falling straight down like if gravity became 10x stronger all a sudden. The helicopters and planes feel really bad as well. Constantly having to shake the helicopter back and forward just to maintain your altitude. The turning on them feels really bad the rotation for air vehicles shoukd be on the bumpers RB rotates right LB rotates left. Flying and car driving needs to be more like GTA V for it to even be fun in this game and with how big of a role cars and that play this is something that really needs to be adjusted.

    • Bullet Velocity and Bullet drop- Now I said the gunplay feels good but the bullet Velocity doesn't. The bullet are like literally little pellets. The flight time on bullets is just way to long. I was shooting at a guy in the back from like 80m away and it literally felt like my bullets took 3 seconds to travel across the air and hit him. Same for pretty much all other guns to Sniper you shoot from a distance not even that far and it takes quite sometime for the bullets to finally land. Bullet Velocity needs to be toned up a lot more so the guns feel like guns and not pellets. Also the bullet drop is so unrealistic why is a sniper from like 60m out having to adjust for bullet drop. Bullet drop shouldn't kick in for at least 200m or so.

    • Sound effects- The sound effects are really bad guns don't sound like guns you can't hear anything really everything is so low pitched and dull. When you blow a car up theres is almost no sound at all the explosion sounds like it happened 5km away but in reality you were like 5ft away. Guns are so dull and low pitch they need a real bang to them more echo more feedback. Were shooting guns in a canyon they need to be loud. But as of now you can literally hear nothing going on in terms of sound effects cant hear the footsteps of your character nothing. Can barely hear the characters talk. Sound effects need some serious work. Also the radio in the worlds need to be toned down. They're so loud when you're in a base you literally hear the radio over everything that needs to be lowered theres no reason the radios should be so loud especially when you're not even near the thing it just gets insanely loud when you do get near it.

    • Cover system- Now I enjoy the system this game has but it needs some work. When you get against cover your character should actually slightly stick to it to actually make it feel like you're hugging the wall. Also the lean feature needs work. Whenever I try to shoot over the top my guy stays crouch the whole time and this results in you constantly just shooting the wall. Same when leaning out the sides you lean out the side and end up just shooting the wall because you were far enough out. Also movements in cover are bad when my character is facing left you walk left he goes that direction. But now if I push right to try and go that way instead of him adjusting his body around he just walks backwards making this really clunky system

    • Clothing options- the character customization is great but theres really not that many options in terms of clothing i'm hoping there a lot more left out for beta purposes but I'm just starting to believe what we see is what were getting in terms of clothing options.

    • The world- The map looks great but one of my concerns was that it'll be dead and it kind of is. More Cartel member roaming around/driving would be nice. More unidad helicopters upping the chance to get spotted etc...

    • Mini Map- remoce the hotzone indicators on the mini map it takes so much away from the game knowing where every enemy is at. The world needs to be more dangerous since were behind enemy lines. Shouldn't be able to just run in without any care in the world simply because your mini map says Theres no enemies around.

    • Obtaining Air vehicles- right now theres just simply to many it makes them no fun really. All of a sudden all these people are billionaire with helicopters. They need to reduce the amount drastically and the ones they do have should only be obtainable through heavily guarded areas. Like an air field, mansions etc... that way people want a chopper they go to that location on the map and fight for one rather then just having them on every corner.
    ―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ――

Some Game additions that are pretty easy

    • Random Encounters- The game should have random encounters at times like, resuce hostages from cartel members and get a reward. Gather intel from civilians to find the where about of a HVT. Convoy missions should be random encounters rather then side missions. Lots of options here to really add to the world.

    • Events- Stuff like an air drop is coming in you need to secure the weapon supplies before the cartel does, defend against waves of cartel members trying to secure intel of your hideout. Again lots of thing to add to the world to really make it feel more lively and keep people entertained.

    • More roaming Enemies- There needs to be more enemies roaming around the world like some of them are driving around more unidad helicopters flying above trying to attack you if spotted. Just more combat engagements would go a long way.

    • Infiltrating checkpoints- infiltrating checkpoints needs to be more rewarding. Every little checkpoint should have some sort of Lieutenant that you can interrogate and find the coordinates of a hidden cartel base. Successfully infiltrate this base to gain a reward such as a new piece of clothing unlock some resources etc...

    • Trading resources- The ability to trade resources like Food, Medical, etc... trade these to little shoos around the map to again unlock some unique items like clothing options new weapon skins etc...

Cool, let's just remember, guys, the game is coming out in less than 20 days, so we're trying here to give small ".INI style" adjustments. Also, in regards to random encounters and events, we haven't seen like 90% of the game, yet. I agree those things would be great, but they might come in the forms of missions, OR in the form of DLC, but probably not as a last minute addition, right?

In that spirit let's try to keep it short as possible and doable as possible.

There is one thing I'd love to build on from what xWTOx SkiLLz said: it's how a lot of what he mentioned goes back to that previous point we were discussing about a larger options menu:

    - Things that appear on the mini-map
    - Camera angle and distance
    - FOV
    - Controller feedback

These are all things that could AND should be in the options menu. Just reminding whoever's listening that the more menu options the better for us, as has been stated before.

    Thanks!

Good thread. I agree with the OP's AI squad related points.

    I'll add in my own:

    Vehicle Stealth:
    - When in Cartel or UNIDAD vehicles, the player and his team should not be detectable by the respective faction's troops unless you open fire or try to run them over.
    - Player should be able to order AI teammates into civil/cartel vehicles and hide there
    - It should overall be harder to be detected when in a vehicle and you don't have the team hanging out waving guns
    - Ability to mark targets for sync shot from within vehicle
    - Ability for the Driver to use a handgun from inside the vehicle, covertly

    Squad AI
    - Overall improvements in cover finding, sneaking and pathfinding
    - Ability to set ROEs individually
    - Ability to order teammates individually
    - Contextual Commands

You dont get detected?? They showed that in the stealth trailer months back?

EDIT: Never mind. Saw in your feedback that it only works with trucks. Good job

here are some thoughts, I tend to concur with the majority of the people in this thread

    Squad AI
    - ability to direct individual team members with waypoints
    - ability to set Rules Of Engagement for individual team members
    - ability to customize team in order to create uniformity among team members
    - ability to issue 'focus fire' orders
    - ability to have AI pathfind with vehicles
    - improved stealth and aggro pathfinding
    - increased vulnerability to enemy fire

    Character Customization
    - ability to apply character smith to full team
    - retextured camo patterns so that shades match
    - redone M81 woodland pattern to reduce tan
    - BDU combat blouse
