Just curious to know really. I've been helping test For Honor since the very first Alpha, I was in the tech test that Faction Wars first got introduced but wasn't invited to the Closed Beta. And of course I did the Open Beta.
As far as I recall in tech test 2 (and from what I heard about the Closed Beta faction war) the Samurai always get ahead first and have a good lead almost throughout the entire test period but then near the end they always get overtaken for some reason. The same thing happened now in the Open Beta.
So what's going on with the Samurai? Does the typical Samurai player just stop playing on the day before the end of the test? Or is there something a bit broken about the Faction War system, like a rubber band mechanic that handicaps the leading faction and thus leaves them with little time to fight back during the short span of time of the beta period?
I always thought it was just when the different types of players logged on and played. No offense to anyone but weebs own during the night tincans into the morning and Vikings mid day when everyone usually gets off work. And the Viking usually won the faction wars because the time was perfect for when the majority of their player base got on the weebs were sleeping and the tincans I have no idea
literally exactly how it's panned out so far.Originally Posted by UbisoftClaims Go to original post
actually vikings were crying over to a new god, the UbiGod, asking to reward them from previous battles that they've won, and then they started building boats so they could navigate through the sea of tears, lets hope they have enough time to get to the battlegrounds tomorrow..Originally Posted by kirisute Go to original post
Intetesting. So it could be that players from certain geographical areas tend to pick the same faction, i.e. Vikings and Knights playing when Samurai are sleeping.
NOTE: Let's keep this discussion friendly and cut out derogatory terms like "weeb". Nobody deserves to be stereotyped or unsulted just for picking a favourite warrior faction. Keeo it clean folks.
good luck with THAT. i made a simple suggestion and got called a worthless viking lowlife lol.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
but it does seem to appear that each faction appeals to different regional and age demographics.
