Yup. In the game store you can buy all Feats for Steel. lmao.Originally Posted by theromanticswb Go to original post
Save yourself like... 2 hours of gameplay on a character lol. You can get to level 18 in like 2.5 hours max. At level 18, reputation ZERO, you have all feats unlocked for that character. This pack is only good for people who want to try out the feats on every single class at the same time. Again, pointless and not op.Originally Posted by VictusMortuus Go to original post
You start with 1 feat in each category for every character. The higher ones up the list are NOT more powerful, just different.
So it's ok to sell this in a full price game with a season pass?, glad to know that.Originally Posted by theromanticswb Go to original post

Well that's a different argument. I'm advocating it. I'm not saying it's good or bad. That's for you to decide for yourself. This thread was just to give people facts about how the steel mechanics work in the game so they could make educated decisions before purchasing the game.Originally Posted by VictusMortuus Go to original post
It's not a thread to argue about the morality of selling a product in a game that you already charged $60 for.
Sry to say, YOU are just part of the problem on gaming community side.Originally Posted by VictusMortuus Go to original post
The industry try to grab every penny from our wallets but arrogant jerks like you roaming message boards on the internet trolling, flaming and adding nothing to anything are just the reason i hate online gaming (pvp) more and more.
You arent our savior just another pain in the ***. Sry nothing personal.
I'll just quote AveImperator85 from earlier in the thread. He said it clearly and it makes sense.Originally Posted by VictusMortuus Go to original post
"Look, I understand that people are wary of AAA titles that offer microtransactions. Really, I am, especially with titles out there like Star Wars: Battlefront.
However, people need to STOP comparing these business practices to the "old days" of buying a "completed game." I'm not advocating in any way that it's ok for devs to ship a half-baked product, far from it, but let's remember what we're getting here.
Back in the day, when a game shipped, that was IT. There was no further development, no support, no new content, no patches or fixes (unless something was truly game-breaking and sometimes not even then). Nowadays, games like For Honor have a year's worth of upcoming content planned, constant support, new patches, continuing development, and more coming each season. That requires time and labor. Those people working on it? They need to get paid. They DESERVE to get paid for their time and labor. It's only fair.
When you pay the $60, you get the game AS-IS at launch. If you want more, you pay more. THAT is fair. The wonder of this game is that For Honor is actually offering all future DLC for FREE, which is AWESOME of them to do. As such, I don't see a problem with continuing to support this game by buying cosmetics, similar to how people keep MOBAs afloat by buying skins and booster packs.
In short, games NEED to make continued revenue if players want continued support. That's not greed, that's reality and quite frankly, it's unfair of people to expect developers to work for free."
Man the whole idea of pay to win sure changed a LOT over the years. And to be honest peoples toes are really to long these days. There is nothing to worry about from what i've seen. At it's worst you can pay to progress slightly faster. And in all honesty that's not called pay to win. That's at most pay to be lazy. And it still won't help you beat someone who's better than you imho.
I really miss the good old days when P2W was actually being able to directly buy a weapon or armor with real money that gave you a real advantage over other players because you couldn't get it in anything other way in-game. This stuff really isn't pay to win. And it also won't really help you.
And yes i'm also considering that 30k steel "feats Bundle". Sure it might make you feel like a bad ***. Then 2 or 3 days pass and better skilled people already catch up (or faster) and you just spend all that money on something that won't do anything at all for you anymore.
Just wanted to add these 2c to the pile.
PS. for the rest i like to +1 theromanticswb above me here.
