Can you ignore the AI in solo, and do the mission alone...

    Hi all,

First post , i wonder if i order my AI members to stay back in every mission can i then do them alone (kinda lone-wolf) or will they still participate...

    Best regards
    Mo'

You can micro-manage them, keep them held back, but they'll probably join in at some point. The moment you board any vehicle they'll be there etc.

Can you be Game Over, and then what do you have to start the game from beginning or just the mission..?

It seems, as from the beta, you die and respawn back at the start of the mission having to clear the area out again etc. That's what happened to me, same when you're free roaming and just clearing a base -- if you die, you'll respawn and you'll end up having to take the base on again.

What I did in the beta was have my AI hang back outside of the area of engagement and sneak in,if a big firefight erupted they did have a tendency to dive in and try and help me.

The squad AI is so useless and the command interface is so shallow...that I too would like the option to switch them off, if this is how the AI will be at launch.

I was kind of hoping that we could start a private solo game of Wildlands and they'd just turn off by default.

I dont really understand why would you want to leave them behind in a first place. If you ignore them, they will blend in and not step in until you give them exact order to engage. Even if you are spotted, they will not openly engage enemies until the very order to attack.

I completed close beta content twice and did few early missions on Ghost difficulty. I could clear small enemy encampment without my AI teammates ever coming into my sight and without single shot fired.

Okay thanks for the answers... What if an AI members dies (if its possible)...??

And another question, true that you can be game over for too many civilian casualties...?

Sorry for the many questions, just curiuos and haven't been able to find the answers anywhere...!

Why don't you wait for the open beta instead of asking stupid questions.
