I agree with OP.
Nobushi has many tools unavailable to those fighting against her. The one OP named is definitely one and it is serious. Against any other character, you can get a free attack or guardbreak after a successful parry, but the nobushi gets knocked out of range when you parry her attacks.
And to all of you "there is no OP" talkers: of course there is. Just because you say you can beat this class, doesn't mean it is objectively stronger than other classes, just comparing movesets and possibilities. Of course I have beaten Nobushi players in the past, but that doesn't mean that the character needs no balancing. It is very clear that it is easier to play and perform well with her than it is with other characters, just look at the ridicules amounts of nobushis you see online, and the very above average numbers of kills they tend to have. I just don't believe that they are all such amazing players and all other people suck. The Nobushi is a tribute to the weabs and sadly plays like an op manga char as well.

No, Nobushi is indeed slightly imbalanced.Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
-Poke with lights (highest dmg light attacks in the game)
-Long range parry punish with kick + lights
-Short range parry punish - GB + Top Heavy = 38 dmg!
-On top of that you have poison and Way of Shark which increases your damage *1.2
She is not impossible to beat, she is just way harder to beat that the other characters.
Do you think I'm bad?Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
The Nobushi is OP. She seems to be immune to all parry > GB tracking for some reason.
Her whole schtick is she's meant to keep you at range but if you get it on her you have the advantage. The only problem is she has a lot of tools to keep you at range where you can't punish her, but is also just as strong if not stronger in closer range. Nobushi can get more damage guaranteed off a guard break than anybody else in the game, and that's before taking her Way Of The Shark damage buff into account, and she can combo it into even more damage unless you're savvy enough to avoid the very quick follow-ups (which put you back out at range and refresh her damage boost).
She is way too good at what she does to justify how strong she is even when you DO manage to close the gap. As far as I can tell, she doesn't have any vulnerabilities, and her defensive options are better than most due to her unique dodge attacks and hidden stance, on top of having the most punishing parries out of anybody.
To put it in perspective, the raider's top heavy does 45 damage. With way of the shark active, Nobushi's does 45.6. Would you be OK with the Raider getting a top heavy off of every guard break which then combos into additional attacks?
They need to absolutely gut her close-combat prowess if they want to keep her ******** parry defense and long range damage.
This is especially true.Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
Look, Ive only played during the open Beta, and only on the first and last day.. so i do NOT have a lot of experience what so ever. but on the last day i decided to play a METRIC ton of Oroshi.
And in the beginning, ofc i almost only played Deathmatch 4v4, everytime i met a damn Nobushi i got wrecked. I couldnt do **** about it.
Now when the day ended, after i trained my character and learned how to do all these fancy moves (i didnt even know i could combo keys in the start) i started to get a hang of it. And during the final 2 hours i could beat any champion, except the peacekeeper.. damn i hate that fast creep, but i will not say that shes OP because there is ways of winning against her as well, but i just didnt have the time during the open Beta to learn it.
So yeah, Just learn the characters you are playing against, and you will see that nothing is OP, just more difficult then others to learn how to counter.
And to all the war fans out there: "GET SOME.."

Level 7 and posting stats...
You're playing kids that just got out of the tutorial. That means nothing.
Prestige a couple times and post your stats.
Also, where's the duel stat? Not so good I'm guessing.
Dude you posted your duel stat after playing only 23 games. You're not one to talk.Originally Posted by Peligrad Go to original post

Its cuz its cancerous to play. I don't play duels cuz I like to play in parties. My KDA and win rate made me match with level 2 prestiges all the time. Nobushi is gross and not my main so I don't play it.Originally Posted by Peligrad Go to original post
