    Open Beta Horror No Honor Times!! For Ubisoft to Respond!!

    Dear Ubisoft Devs,

    I never had to sign in to the forums before, but I felt I needed to.

    I had a very brief playtime during the closed Beta and I really like the concept of the game, so I was really excited for the Open Beta of the game I already pre-ordered the Golden version of it. So here is my story with the Open Beta;

    1st Day: Things were kind of reasonable and expected of a "Beta version", many disconnections due to connection errors, game freezes, and timeouts, but manged to squeeze in few game rounds in Dominion and Elimination.

    2nd Day till the end of Open Beta: My overall experience turned to a freaking nightmare. Here is a summary of continuous errors I have encountered through to end;

    • Connection Errors (Kick to Main Menu) - During all online modes
    • EasyAntiCheat Error - Kick to Main Menu at the start of any multiplayer game mode - What on Earth is this???
    • Game would start for 10-20 seconds and then freezes! Only Forced Task Manager quieting would deal with the damage and few time, restarting is the only solution
    • Long queuing times for matchmaking, sometimes more than 5 minutes and end up with half bots
    • Actual players get disconnected from the game, and replaced by Bots
    • At end of match, the players who leave session do not get replaced, which causes all of us to leave session to start matchmaking again
    • Ratio of completing a Dominion or Elimination less than % 10 either disconnected by errors or looping around loading screens finding players and loading maps to go back to same loading screens due to errors


    Ubisoft, I have spent the days of Beta on forums and Reddit trying to sort the game problems out instead of playing, and in most cases I have failed to solve any.

    I really regret pre-ordering the game, I should've waited till you deal with all of this ***** and then think of buying.

    Note: I play other games on Uplay like the Division and Assassin Creed. I have a solid gaming PC with decent graphics card, and have no issues with any other game!!

    It was a beta. That's the anwser. How in the hell a beta is supposed to work perfectly ?! That's not a finished produce.

    Be sure you wasn't the only one to be kicked/disconnected/Game freezed one match on three. I had the same problem.

    Yes, it may have been a "beta", but they want(ed) to release tomorrow and i don't see all these problems fixed with numerous people not able to play at all and literally NO support/help from ubisoft.

    Look like we had a pretty old version. Cause no solo, 3 misseds characters and on the forum, there is a list of knew bugs already solveds on the release version but not on this beta.

    I guess only few of this bugs wasn't knew already.

    The game is quite buggy, so do not give it back and correct errors, and it would be better to postpone hu month, and then tested again before issuing

    eh yea, that's what the beta was for. I love it how they live-patched and fixed glitches while playing, everytime rebooting the game you'd get the downloading update sign in the bottom right corner. Fantastic work.

    It is easy to say "awww this is beta deal with it". I had the exact same nightmare experience at the open beta like the thread owner but i had 0 (yes zero!) problems at the closed beta. So to my knowledge beta versions are supposed to improve the games, rather than making them unplayable. But hey it is Ubisoft's funeral, since there are lots of people decided not to buy the game after this horrible open beta. It is sad though, I realy like the game and was ready to purchase it before encountering these connection issues.

    c`mon UBISOFT....DO SOMETHING

    same here:
    Closed Beta worked perfectly!
    Open Beta for two days pretty good
    Now i can't get a single UBI**** game working. I already spent more than 12 hours on troubleshooting/port forwarding/DNS-flushing/hosts-file exchanging/router-reset/PC-reset.
    I`m REALLY impressed how little this all works.
    And their "Customer support" ist not reachable via chat or phone.
    I get that i can`t expect an 100% working game pre-release, but my other games stopping to work is unacceptable.

    Lets see

    Almost 10 hours without a response from any Ubisoft staff, you guys should seriously look into increasing the number of staff to liaise with costumers quires on fourms and technical support , if you really care!!

    The official release is due in few hours and I have all hopes that Ubisoft has done some magic on all of this. Otherwise, I will be really frustrated.
