Kensei vs Nobushi matchup PROVED to be impossible - Nobushi exploits the mechanics.

Today a fellow redditor going by the name of "jaypham" pointed out that balance issue, and I would like Ubisoft representatives to have a look and carefully test this (probable) balance issue:

"My friends and I have tested this:
    1) The Kensei is too slow to block a poke or cobra strike if he was not already guarding in that direction. At point blank, if Kensei has his stance right, and Nobushi attacks fast left, he is too slow to move over and block the attack. There is no other matchup in the game that does this.
    2) If the Kensei is hit by an attack, the delay effect makes Kensei unable to dodge a Nobushi Kick, and the Kick can be followed up by 2 free attacks. SO combining these problems, if the Kensei inst already blocking in the direction of the Nobushi, then the Nobushi gets 4 free attacks. And then Kensei gets bleed damage too. This matchup is pure ******** for a Kensei trying to defend, (there are many examples of what can lead to this scenario), the Kensei is also the most telegraphed Hero. Did Ubisoft think this through, or did it just slip through the cracks? This is not even about balance, a good Nobushi is unplayable for a Kensei in a defensive setting, 1 mistake and 4 free easy shots on Kensei."

As stated above, Kensei cannot win that duel if Nobushi exploits the mechanics of the game.

    Please review this issue.
    Thank you.

Except this is purely a latency issue on your end. I've had Kensei dodge my kicks on numerous occasions, and I only ever use it after one successful light attack in any direction. And I've had them parry my very first light attack, coming from a different direction of their block.

If you are sure about this, then it's perfectly okay, but still I would love the devs to give it a look.

Anway, Nobushi vs Kensei duel still seems to be extremely unfair. You can read about it in the comments of the reddit post I mentioned above: https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitive...nobushikensei/

    Important:
"The guard switching speeds are not the same, another guy asked this on a stream in another thread:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7JD...qNFHg72&t=1014
The parry themselves are down to who executes it, so it seems to be the same delay on every target. But the issue is that the Kensei can get set up for this combo from 5 places:
    Miss an attack
    Get blocked
    Get parried
    Get hit
    Be out of stamina
Infact I explained on another thread that we tested that if you know this issue, against a good Nobushi, the MOMENT a Kensei runs out of stamina, even at FULL HP, he is dead. Dead I promise you that. NObushi has enough stamina for 4 combos, and you bleed to death"

I feel like running out of stamina shouldn't mean an insta death.

There are some character matchups that are weaker than others. I like that about the game. Its just like how warden stomps PK. I wouldn't call it extremely unfair or impossible though.

Running out of stamina does not mean instant death. Any character can parry any attack when out of stamina. Any character can guard break when out of stamina. If knocked on the ground, you will be hit by the first attack aimed at you, but you will immediately teleport up to intercept the second from any attacker, no manner how soon after it is to the first.

Guard switching speeds are not the same, you are correct. Nobushi, in my experience, seems to be the character who is MOST impacted by this very important gameplay mechanic, to the point where, other heroes, such as the Warden, can recover from a parry in time to parry an incoming heavy attack, whereas the Nobushi will have no hope of doing so, against any incoming attack. (This is in my experience, once more, let me make this perfectly clear. I live in a forest in the middle of ******** nowhere, and while my internet is not terrible, it is not exceptional by any means. 10 Mbps down, 1 up).

If the statement about the Kensei not being able to parry Nobushis lights coming from a different direction of Kenseis block is false, then you're 100% right.
It's such a pity that I found this reddit thread so late and cannot check it myself, that's why I'm trying to get some attention here for this statement to be checked just in case, as it's not only one person that reported it.
