So the question, how is the Faction War balanced??
There will never be a clear answer since they have not told us how Skill/Population are connected. They will forever tweak it because a 3-way 'balanced' war concept is unproven. If the facts are Knights won because they gained more War Assist though winning more games(which is the best way to earn WA), then how will the other Factions ever win if the better players are within the one Faction. Clearly they will tweak it to let another factions win only to piss off the better players(which they shouldn't).I personally want to be able to do more with Faction Map like recommend a spot for the Faction to fight for and to automatically assign to that spot(QoL). This could add strategy, but i doubt it would help the two losing factions unless there was some way to treaty.
Enough of balancing, A great way to improve Factions Wars is to keep the rewards at a minimal such as Champion Status maybe a couple Loot Boxes. Increasing it will give this 'Meta Game' too much importance. Instead increasing the Rewards for players that contribute enough War Assist.I already do not like how the Golden Boarders are given to everyone in the faction and not the best of each factions' participants. Anyways that's what i feel.
But the Knights didn't win, you lost 7 territories before the servers shut down whilst the Vikings gained 7, sitting at a comfy 23 to your 17, and the weebs had 18 IIRC.
The only reason you "won" is because the Ubisoft team is full of screeching autist that don't understand how to actually balance this gaming mode, it should have been a total tally of all territory gained over the entire session, rather than the final markings, as anything can happen over a single night/morning.
But Ubi has proven to be incompetent up to this point.

Also calling them "incompetent" clearly indicates importance to this "Meta Game", I believe that should not be the case. They never said it was going to be a 3 way completely fair faction war. However I have posted about a way already that I wanted a way to have a way to deploy war assets to a certain area.
Alot of players just play domination and that's it. They don't pay attention to if their faction even has land and you know what? That's an over site on the the developer's part. Their needs to be a way to deploy assets maybe to adjacent lands even if is not in that part of the map or send them to that "army". Something . Maybe have the assets you would get if you were to fight in that area not what you would get for staying in domination of course to do this.
I agree that is a complete Quality of Life improvement cause who likes to fumble in the menu after each match. Adding to that oversight you can play any game mode and after that match you will zoom you in to add War Assist. As for my own idea on how to at least fix this is to make it so that people get matched up according to Faction, rather than just randomly put together. Faction Members should be paired up with each other so that when a game is actually played the actual skilled players get the reward and not 3 Samurai that one Knight had to carry through an entire round of Dominion (I joined mid-game and they were losing hard. I kept the enemy busy at A and that lead them to win, but the fact that when I joined the enemy had 700+ and they had 83 says something about their skill). That way we can see who the actual best faction is and it's less of a popularity contest.
This would allow for us to get rid of War Assets and instead do something like pick a territory and the side that wins the most battles there would get it.
When I tried it wouldn't allow me to deploy my assets in another area of the map in the closed beta so u didn't even try it in this. But it might have been the game just being buggy . I hope it actually allows You to deploy assets to any part of the map you are defending or attacking. The menu in this game isn't used friendly I'm afraid though and the tutorial us super basic with the rest as baptismal by learn by a steep learning curve or just stay ignorant by almost no fault of your own.Originally Posted by MONSTR- Go to original post
