Please do not make for honor a pay-2-win game!

    Hello All,

I've enjoyed playing the beta and am thoroughly pleased with it's content and mechanics so far.

However, I noticed something while I was trying to outfit my warrior: the option to buy customization packs.
This scared me for a single reason; most games that I've played that included weapon/upgrade packs also sold them for real money. I think the moment that happens will be the moment For Honor becomes For ******.

For Honor has stressed the importance of skill and awareness and it has paid off as its main selling point. A pay-2-win scheme will jeopardize that hold on its consumer base.

At any rate, I've pre-ordered the Gold Edition and I'm impatiently waiting

I havenet seen gear that is overwhelmingly game breaking. I find most gear to be sidegrades and are more to customize your character to your playstyle, etc.

I think he means that if people can pay their way around the grind, they can get top tier stats without any grinding. This would give them these stats while they still would have the low xp and be matched with lower players.

you know i'm not sure why this game has stats at all, it feels like an unnecessary game mechanic and prone to some abuse, like the 1 second revives

I actually like them. They are tradeoffs. It allows people who are even the same class to adopt different playstyles.
