The Full Potential of For Honor Constructive Criticism

    Criticism/Problems:

    • Some characters fail to lose stamina when they perform multiple actions
    • Power-ups encourage players to constantly run away from battles instead of fight up front (2v2s are great because theres no power ups to run away a fight to)
    • Players run away from opponent when at low health a lot and commence ganging up on 1 player rather than fight their own opponent
    • Often revenge mode would be triggered when a player isn't being ganged up on but in 1v1 situations which is 1 sided and unfair in a fight and sometimes when a player is being ganged up on they don't get revenge mode at all
    • Orochi can attack in multiple directions even though the defense indicator says he/she is attacking from 1 direction
    • When a player initiates a guard break before an opponent attacks or guard breaks as well often times the opponent would get their hit off 1st which doesn't make sense
    • When a player runs away and is ahead of an opponent would catch up instantly without the speed power up and slide up instantly and attack
    • Peacekeeper's bleed ability can be overused still and should switch to a different guard break after the bleed ability is triggered once
    • There should be 3v3s, 5v5s, and maybe 6v6s instead of only 1v1s, 2v2s, then skip to 4v4s
    • Custom matches should have 4v4 Deathmatch as well as Dominion
    • Characters who use unblockable attacks should be greatly punished after using it and missing it like major reduced stamina
    • If players do runaway from a fight with low health they shouldn't run like they're perfectly healthy and should be slowed or limp (Only problem with that is when a player is ganged up on it'll be hard to recover ground)
    • Sometimes when a player is about to be executed and the prompt appears the prompt would quickly disappear and the player would escape with the health they previously lost

Besides these circumstances I really enjoy the game. I love 1v1s and 2v2s with friends but a lot more space for players would allow me to play with more friends since we really don't like playing with randoms and the game would be boring alone. Also not filling in the gap of 3v3s disables me from playing with 2 other players when theres only 3 of my friends and I online. The game is an incredible competitive environment when each player fights their own opponent to achieve the higher objective of eliminating the other team as a team. Power ups are game breaking since they don't promote true skill and offers handicaps which would fit new players more or not very competitive ones. Ganging up on 1 player instead of taking turns fighting is very unfair and dishonorable! Thank you for taking time to read my suggestions!

-Sincerely LordThomas554 P.S. anyone who reads this is encouraged reply with even more suggestions and/or criticize my criticism

    couple things.

    Yeah, powerups are bad as-is.

Revenge mode probably should be disabled in duel mode.

The orochi thing is an intended part of gameplay, they're feinting. Also some classes have attacks that swap direction, or visually come from one way but the indicator and block direction is different.

It's not exactly clear if the first or second player to hit guard break wins in a near-tie, but the whole attacking second and still hitting before guard break is intended. Light attacks make you immune to guard break during the wind up and attack. Heavy attacks do the same but have a brief period at the beginning of wind up where you can still be guard broken, so they require better timing.

Peacekeeper bleed honestly isn't that bad, though a tiny nerf of 5% or so wouldn't be out of line.

Unblockable attacks already cost a lot of stamina as a rule, and most of them have a long recovery period so if you dodge the attack you have plenty of room to punish, nevermind that you can also counter hit them or parry the attack.

The execution thing sounds like a lag issue.

As for ganging up on people; if you're not talking about brawl mode no one gives a ****. Dual are the official non-******** mode, and most people seem to prefer brawl as dual in series, but /shrug.

You're probably right about the execution issue being lag because different something must be going on on my opponents screen and the game can't decide what happened. You sure the unblockable take takes a lot of stamina because once I fought a Kensei and they did it 3 times in a row without losing much. I think multiple people use Orochi for someone reason.
