There shouldn't be the 30 FPS limit

i get the error notice that my computer is playing the game below the required level of frames and i will say that my computer hasnt got the best of specs compared to what can be achived today.

the card i run ot a gtx 745 with 4 gb of memory, so i know my card can't run the game on the best of settings but i find that taking someone out of the game they are playing and displying a error to tell them that there compuyter cannot run the game because it had a drop of 3 fps is rediculous.
we want to unite the community not divide it, by having this system in place it just seems like the game is for the people which can afford the higher and most up to date technology for thier computer.

it isn't a game changer and i do intend to by the game but with this error system in place, it just seems its going to turn away alot of players from buying the game because there pc can't reach the limit of 30 fps

You're right. I dropped 100 dollars on this game for the gold edition and it won't let me play dominion. I was playing deathmatch and elimination just fine, but I can't do dominion. The lowest my FPS dropped to was around 25, and if pixar can make AWESOME movies at 24, we should be able to play at around there. This game is basically legitimizing E-PEEN
    Who want's that?

I just want to be able to play. On the benchmark I was REGULARLY above 30, but only barely, and dropped under a few times. Pisses me off that I can't play and they probably won't give me a refund.

If you can't run the game atleast 30+ FPS then you will be holding your team back.

I very much agree with OP. I personally do not have a computer that was built for gaming. It came out of the box for something like $600USD and the only upgrades I've given it is more RAM. I don't, like many others with this issue, have the funds to get a dedicated gaming rig that can run the game 'optimally'. Yes, the game doesn't look pretty from my point of view, but I dueled a friend of mine several times while on a mobile hotspot and he told me that I wasn't lagging. I wasn't warping around the battlefield and my inputs were not delayed much at all that I noticed. I will admit that my internet is not perfect, but I am capable of playing with the amount of input lag because I'm used to it.

With that in mind, yes, there are some texture glitches and visual errors that I run across, but the HUD works fine and I can play the game. Having less than 30 fps doesn't hinder my gameplay because it is within a range where I can still react properly. From my understanding of how fps would affect me, the only thing it does is tighten my window of response and makes it marginally more difficult to execute frame-specific combos. Now I'm aware I could be wrong, but I find it very punitive to be kicked from 2v2 matches and completely incapable of playing 4v4 consistently simply because I do not have a particularly expensive or specialized computer.

I could completely understand being kicked because your connection to the game is weak or spotty and causes you to warp and cheese hits to other players, but as long as you can see and react to the game, a framerate cap is not really an inviting thing. One solution would be to make graphic options more specific so players like myself on lower end spec computers can remove or reduce the load of effects and such that he or she does not deem necessary. Yeah, they won't have a very cinematic gaming experience, but they'll at least be able to play the game, which is what they are paying for more than the cosmetic polish.

I guess it's because their P2P system with sync. Which require each peer to constantly sync with each other and if you have too low FPS, which mean your game update algorithm run too slow and could cause the desync problem to others.

But this is the first time I heard something like this and is pretty absurd lmao. Another reason why P2P won't work IRL, I guess.
