    Buffs are too easily gained when fought over.

    I think someone knocking someone else back a little through a move should not be what gives you a pick up buff, since those are pretty strong.

    What would help would be a pickup-deny circle with 2x-3x the radius of the pick up radius. When there is someone from the opposite team inside the circle deny the pickup.

    You can still push people out of those, but it's not a single action thing.

    I agree you can get those power ups to quickly. At the start of a fight you can literally turn around and grab a power up before they hit you. The time it takes to be able to grab a power up should be increased. It shouldnt be that the amount of starting space inbetween to opponents is all the space/time you need to grab a buff. an extra 2 seconds would be ideal.
