    zerk vs conq really boring

So being the zerk the only safe attack you can do is light/dash, heavy/dash and the boar rush at the start, besides that you just wait for him to attack. Do the dev's plan on changing this or do they want this one dimensional play? Every other class is great fun though.

Every class is like that. As long as parrying and deflecting is as powerful as it is, any character with slow chain attacks will never be able to actually use them. Parrying and deflecting need to be made into less powerful options.

As a Conqueror, I do find the match up against Berserkers to be fairly easy, but I think it's actually a decent fight. I've also fought Berserkers who understood my combos and how I could block them and they came up with chains to get around my defenses for the win. It's not an easy match by any means but I think Conquerors are just a match up you have to try and not pick because you do get countered by them. Adapt your playstyle as best you can and understand that there are things out there that beat Conquerors fairly easily as well. I think hard matches are kind of fun because they force you to play abnormally for victory! Best of luck! =)

I mained Conq this beta and laughed at every zerk I fought...

And btw those dash attacks aren't safe at all. More like a free heavy hit for the conq every time the zerk tries it.

Honestly if I played zerk I wouldn't attack the conq. I would just try to win with deflects into GBs because that's his only change tbh.

Gotta feint . Bait a parry, and if they don't go for it eventually mix lights, or let the heavy land (blocked or not) follow with a combo light, then with your next heavy option either feint it into a side dash (with/without attack follow up) or into a light and restart, or just let it land to mess with them.

You have to feint for a while to practice getting them to be more passive, but feinting changes the psychology a lot. In the above example, a common move would be let the heavy land, hit with light, then feint the heavy with a new side dash. You get screwed if they don't try to parry your heavy, and then parry your light. But this is all where you get high enough level that it's all about mind games. You can also try light into feinted heavy into GB. Much more likely to land than a flat GB.
