Where did you get it from? Looks like it's part of the map but whether it's part of the OB is another thing... As far as I know the new area hasn't been announced as per this article...

I think that was, indeed, the province that folks were able to access in the technical test that preceded the closed beta. Likely that we'll see the same province.

This will be amazing. The two things I willl be looking foward to is testing the scalability of the Ai difficulty in new region and chasing down convoys beyond the the invisible wall of the starting province.

    I wound't be surprised
As Montuyoc was basically all finished in the Closed Beta.
You could clear a good amount of bases, there was guns and skill points you could find ect.
This will most likely be unlocked for the Open Beta, but it's not confirmed yet.

It's more logical for Ubisoft to have the open beta closer to the release of the game but also close to the release of the mini movie that ties the story together.

That's just conjecture, based on the timeline of For Honor. However, there are a couple ways to look at that. For Honor closed beta was a week before GRW. For Honor open beta was this past weekend. Now, For Honor releases tomorrow, so the closed beta for it was closer to it's release date (2/14) than GRW closed beta was. If you assume that GRW open beta will precede launch by a few days, then 3/2-5 indeed fits. If you instead assume that the spacing of the betas will be the same, GRW open beta will be this coming weekend. The fact that the mini-movie will release Thursday would also fit well with the open beta being this weekend, perhaps Thursday to Sunday. That's my guess.
