Feedback: Good enough game, but it's really love it or hate it during gameplay

Let me first start by saying that I think that balancing the different classes for different playstyles is a good idea, and the combos of each Hero really does feel satisfying when it all comes together.

But after playing (and losing) many different matches across brawls, dominion, and eliminations, I have to say that helplessness is a very bad, and very frustrating feeling when playing. I tend to not be salty player, but somehow FH manages to make me so.

If any of you have played Overwatch early on, think of fighting against your most hated Hero like facing off against McCree with his flashbang and right click, round after round after round. It's one thing to have your enemy assassin outplay you with dodges, but it's another to have them spam light attacks again and again and again with no window for you to parry or dodge or anything. Even more frustrating is to react in time with your controller/keyboard & mouse input, see the indicators change, but still have their attack hit anyway. In such a fast paced game as this, doing the right action but still being punished for it is just another nail in the board, so to speak.

These little pieces all feed into each other. You can't react against one thing, it leads to losing against other things, and when you see yourself in tactical view watching that raider or warlord or nobushi run off and take down the rest of your team for the fifth match in a row, well it all leads to a very helpless feeling experience. Getting surrounded is not something the game's mechanics do much to address. Revenge mode only helps so much. "Git gud" doesn't work when the very laws of the universe won't allow it.

The main issue here, I think, is knowing what you need to do, or even doing it, and yet still being unable to accomplish it. That feeling is the root cause of most complaints it seems. It's not necessarily that one class is OP, but rather something deeper.

To fix that, I suggest tweaking the windows for some actions. Like slightly widening the opening for a deflect, or certain attack combos. This isn't much of a problem for things like parrying, and in my experience parrying is perfect as it is. But guard break spam or being unable to defend (not react) against light attack spam is something that's always never fun to deal with.
Also, offsetting the guard change to shift before the animation finishes. This seems to be more of a problem with internet connections and latency, but I'm sure all of you can relate to blocking/guarding/deflecting an attack that still hits because your character was too slow to move their arms.

More drastically, maybe some sort of character switching mechanic can be implemented between rounds? Fighting that one all-reaching nobushi for the third time in a row with no recourse makes for one long match. At that point, I'd rather just quit and change games. Or at least be able to switch to a character that's better equipped to deal with things. As they're balanced now each character has inherent advantages over another, and over-exploitation of those advantages is not fun. When you lose in this game you lose hard.

Now I understand that the character advantages are part of the game, but I think they could use just a little bit of adjustment to make things slightly less of a curb-stomp battle.

On another note, in a game "for honor", the AI sure doesn't seem to have any. Running away from a duel to go and gank the one your teammate's fighting? Forget other players, this game's doing a fine job by itself showing everyone why no one really fights with "honor" nowadays. You either fight dirty or lose almost every elimination vs AI till you get used to it. Perhaps moving the bots one level down, a bit more in line with Dominion's bots, would be better.

Do you mean 'GG-scenarios' like this?

After I got GBed by the zerker. It was GG. I knew I was dead, the moment he hit me the second time. Death by light stagger.
