Yeah I got on the beta for the first time today and have attempted to play at least 5 matches and only 2 of those have gone through to completion. The other 3 caused me to get the Matchmaking Not Ready message and I had to restart the whole game in order to get around it. It seems like the P2P style isn't a good way to go. Especially when people rage quit. It really destabilizes the game state.
