I feel like the AI matchmaking difficulty should reset between characters since they all play so differently from each other. I got pretty decent with conqueror but that does not mean I'll be able to hand lvl 3 bots when I try to learn Kensei or Orochi. I find learning characters much more enjoyable when playing the actual gamemodes rather than just practicing, but getting wrecked by bots constantly ruins that for me.

Absolutely.

Just because a person has learned to play with a warden, he can not suddenly play a berserker as well.
