Everything starts out nice with everyone set up 1v1 but 9 times out of 10 your opponent turns the other way and runs like a madman over to whack his friends duel partner in the back and then those two meet up with one or two more and the gankfest is on. Feats, powerups and the unending spam-ressing (if you don't execute the person you manage to kill) tend to be a bigger attraction than the actual person standing infront of you. I've hacked down 7 opponents in a 4v4 round and still ended up having 4 people pushing me into a corner and just going ape**** with attacks till I finally die. That's not honorable one bit and no amount of revenge procs will save me.

Imo some kind of counter to this that might balance this game mode out a tad without messing with the core concept could be:
1: Let the powerups spawn after say 30 sec to 1 min in to the round (To avoid instant disengage from the initial duel)

2: Add a stamina drain to sprint (a small hindrance to rush across the map and stab someone in the back and it'd prevent (in both Dominion and Elimination) having the last guy standing sprinting around the map at the end of the game for 3 solid minutes with noone able to catch him (because he's the only one who prioritzed sprint speed) which is not fun for anyone either)

3: Put a max of like 1-2 revives / person or let people who get revived a second time start with half hp that regens back to full over time unless attacked within 10-15 sec or somewhat.

Dominion imo feels a lot better since the team has to spread out to capture points so you usually run in to like 2 people tops and those fights are fun and managable with a bit of luck and skill.

Even in brawls people tend to fight their own opponent, then move over to the other two people fighting and wait to see who wins before taking on a second duel or going to the next round. This is what everyone keeps referring to as "Honorable Fights" and what sets this game apart from most gankfest games released over the last couple of years.

I feel it's a bit of a shame that a lot of people (myself included) feel discouraged to play 4v4 because of getting completely ganged up upon and it might lead to a smaller playerbase if they feel they're confined to doing duels / brawls for the lifetime of the game.

Thanks for an awesome game, been enjoying it immensely over this weekend and I plan to spend a lot more time with it after release!
